Boutons et livres/ Buttons and books

Good week-end,
I just finished this card and used Kraftin' Kimmie stamp that I received yesterday!  It's their new stamps for March and they're called Everyday Girls.  I choose Lucy:
I cut the background and the buttons with my Cricut and used a texture plate for the embossing on the beige piece of paper.  The patterned paper is Me & My Big Idea, the brown ribbon and the cardstock is SU.  I really got out of my comfort zone, I don't usually pick those colours!  The sentiment comes with the stamp.
She's coloured with Copics and I added some eyelids and colours for her eyes.  For me, all brown books are leather, so I added Crystal Effects on them to give them some shine!!!  I paper pieced the cushion with some patterned paper.
I made the buttons with the Paisley cartridge and Shrinky Dink, the bow with my Bow Easy.  It doesn't really show on the picture, but the big button is in 3-D:  I put two pieces together and fused them!

Pour les défis suivants:
Polka Doodle:  livres
Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps:  bouttons

For the following challenges:
Polka Doodle:  all about books
