 Pour cette carte, j'ai fait le fond avec des Brusho et puis ajouté des bouts de washi tape. J'ai fini par un sentiment de Stampin' Up, une découpe de fleur et quelques pierres.

For this card, I made the background with Brusho and added washi tape. I finished with a SU sentiment, die cut flower and some gems.

So this is my first creation for the DT, I used lovely LOTV patterned papers and a sentiment from Stampin'Up. I followed a sketch from Sketch Saturday. I added sparkles around the edges.
Donc, sans plus tarder, voici ma première carte pour le DT. J'ai utilisé du beau papier de LOTV et un sentiment de Stampin'Up. J'ai suivi le sketch de Sketch Saturday et j'ai ajouté des brillants sur les contours.

I coloured Daisys for Wendy from our Sponsor Dis Digi Designs with Copics. I'm not happy with the creases of the dress but it will have to do. I tried a bunch of time and got really discouraged!

Here's a very simple card using a retired Stampin'Up stamp. I embossed the background and added a few pearls, a ribbon, some butterflies and a sentiment.

I love Magnolia stamps and this one is a cutie. Just a cute bow and some pearls.

A little bit about me: I'm from Canada and post in both english and french. I was DT for a couple of blogs a few years ago but life got in the way. I'm recently retired and found myself with lots of time on my hands. I can start anytime and won't have any problems using digis or posting more than once a month.

Je me présente, je suis Canadienne et j'écris en français et anglais. Je faisais parti de plusieurs DT voila quelques années mais j'étais très occupée. Je suis récemment à la retraite et j'ai beaucoup de temps pour faire ce que j'aime. Je peux commencer n'importe quand et je n'ai aucun problème à utiliser des estampes digitales ou à mettre des messages fréquemment.

Marina from Kraftin' Kimmie

Il neige encore!!!  Mais au moins, je suis au chaud à la maison et je suis l'évènement FB de Kraftin' Kimmie pour sa fête.

It's snowing... again!!! At least, I'm warm at home and following the FB event for Kimmie's birthday.

Le premier défi est de faire notre propre fond. C'est la première fois que j'utilise ma gel press, mais j'aime le résultat final! J'ai ajouté des "bulles" en carton et plastique et puis fini le tout avec de la corde.

The first challenge is to make our own background. It's the first time I used my gel press. I used Stampin'Up ink and then lifted some of the ink with an embossing folder. I added some dew drops and put Frantage on the paper "bubbles". I finished with some twine.

J'ai colorié Marina de Kraftin' Kimmie avec mes Copics et ajouté du brillant.

Voici ma deuxième carte pour aujourd'hui, celle-ci est pour le défi de CAS colours and sketches. Cette semaine, il faut utiliser les couleurs ET le sketch 306.

Here's my second card for today, this one is for CAS colours and sketches. This week, we have to use BOTH the sketch and colour combo 306.

Pour avoir l'horloge de la bonne grandeur, il a fallu que je scan la découpe et que je la rétrécisse avec ma Cricut. J'ai aussi fait les étiquettes avec ma machine et fini avec des vieilles estampes de Stampin'Up.

To get the correct clock size, I had to scan the die cut and then shrink it with my Cricut. I also made the tags with my machine and finished with some older Stampin'Up stamps.

I picked the song "In the Navy" by the Village People.  I used a SU sailboat image and cute the anchor with my Cricut.

J'ai choisi la chanson "In the Navy" par Village People.  J'ai utilisé une estampe de SU et coupé l'ancre avec ma Cricut.

I coloured Dangling Sea Tilda with Copics and added Frantage embossing powder to everything in sight!!!  I also put some Crystal Effects on the anchor.

J'ai colorié Tilda avec mes Copics et ajouté de la poudre d'embossage Frantage partout!!!  J'ai aussi mis du Crystal Effects sur l'ancre.

I decided to make a book card for a special person.  It took me a long time to make.  I had the whole book finish when I decided it would look nicer with a leather binding!  So I tear out the old one and put this one instead.  The button, pink cord and resin flower are from the sponsor. 

 J'ai décidé de faire un livre carte pour une personne spéciale.  Ça m'a pris beaucoup de temps pour le faire.  J'avais terminé quand j'ai décidé que ce serait plus beau avec une reliure en cuir!  J'ai donc ôté la veille reliure et mis celle-ci à la place.  Le bouton, la corde rose et la fleur de résine sont du commanditaire.

Lots of flowers from WOC.  The metal corner is also from there.

Beaucoup de fleurs de WOC.  Le coin en métal est aussi de là.

I made the frame with polymer clay and a cute mould I got on Etsy.  I airbrushed it with Copics, put some punched butterflies and finished by adding a coat of Crystal Effects. 

J'ai fait le cadre avec de l'argile polymère et un moule.  Je l'ai vaporisé avec mes Copics, ajouté des papillons et fini par une couche de Crystal Effects.

The inside.  Not as pretty, but I was running out of time...  and patience, lol!!!  It looks a lot better now filled with loads of chocolate! 

L'intérieur.  Pas aussi beau que le reste, mais je n'avais plus le temps...  et la patience, *rire*!!!  C'est beaucoup mieux maintenant, rempli de chocolat!

I think that SU sentiment is so beautiful.

Je trouve ce sentiment de SU si beau.

Arr matey!!! BTC&G midway reminder

It's the middle of the month and the mid-way reminder at By The Cute And Girly.  The theme this month is boys/men.  This time I made a couple of scrapbooking pages of my nephew.

C'est le milieu du mois et un rappel pour le défi de By The Cute And Girly.  On veut voir des projets de/pour les gars.  Cette fois ci j'ai fait deux pages de scrapbooking pour mon neveu.

The wonderful patterned paper is from DCWV.  I love that company, they have amazing paper for boys!  I added some cord and brads to the first page.  For the second one,  I cut the title with my Cricut and added a charm.  The stamps are from SU except for Edwin.
Le merveilleux papier à motif est de DCWV.  J'aime cette compagnie, elle a des papiers magnifiques pour les garçon!  J'ai ajouté de la corde et des attaches parisiennes pour la première page.  Pour la deuxième, j'ai coupé le titre avec ma Cricut et ajouté un charme.  Les estampes sont de SU sauf Edwin qui est de Magnolia.

Petit chien/Little doggie

Bonjour,
Un collègue de travail m'a demandé de faire une carte pour sa copine.  Malheureusement, il a fallu qu'ils endorment leur chien pour toujours (le pauvre petit était si malade).  Ils ne demeurent pas ensemble à cause du travail et c'est très dur pour eux, surtout pour cette épreuve très difficile.

A co-worker asked me to make a card for his girlfriend.  Unfortunately, they had to put their dog down (he was very sick).  They don't live together because of work and it's really hard for them, specially with the loss of their dog.

J'ai pensé que c'était peut-être trop tôt pour une carte avec un chien, mais c'est ce qu'il veut.  La carte est très simple avec du matériel de SU.
I thought that it was too early for a dog card, but that's what he wants.  The card is very simple with SU materials.

Christmas Card Challenge week/Semaine 38

Hi everyone,

It's this time of the week again:  a challenge at Christmas Card Challenge!!!

For this week's challenge, we would like to see a card with faith as the main theme.  Please keep in mind that all challenges are optional. The only real rule is that you must create a new Christmas Holdiay, Winter or Hanukkah card. Also, it is not necessary to use a SCRS stamp on your card, but we sure love it when you do!

C'est dimanche et ça veut dire que le nouveau défi de Christmas Card Challenge vient de commencer!!!

Pour cette semaine, on voudrait voir une carte à conotation religieuse.  N'oubliez pas que les défis sont optionels.  La seule règle est de faire une carte de Noël ou d'hiver.

I embossed the background with a star stamp and added Stickles to some of the edges.  The sentiment, stamp and cardstock are from SU.  I coloured the ribbon and image with Copics and added some gems.
J'ai embossé le fond avec une estampe d'étoiles et ajouté du Stickles sur certains rebords.  Le sentiment, image et carton sont de SU.  J'ai colorié le ruban et l'image avec mes Copics et ajouté des pierres.

Cute Card Thursday: Tag you're it!

This week at Cute Card Thursday, the theme is Tag you're it!  
Today, I have a very simple card made when I started with Stampin' Up.  I don't use their images too much anymore, but I really like this set.

Aujourd'hui, j'ai une carte très simple que j'ai faite quand j'ai commencé avec Stampin' Up.  Je n'utilise presque plus leurs images, mais j'aime beaucoup cette ensemble.  

Everything on the card is from SU except for the staple.
Tout est de SU sauf l'agraffe.

It's thursday and time for another challenge at Cute Card Thursday.  This week it's all about Clean and Simple.  That was hard for me, I like to have coloured image with loads of embellishment.

I made the card with material strictly from SU.  I put some ink on the flower and the embossed it.
J'ai fait la carte avec du matériel de SU.  J'ai mis de l'encre sur la fleur et je l'ai embossée.

This was a very hard challenge for me.  The idea came from the owner of the local craft store, Dejah.  I cut a Christmas tree with a die cut and then added patterned paper on the backside.  I added a sticker for the sentiment and some ribbons.  
C'était un défi très dur pour moi qui aime mes estampes!!!  L'idée est de Dejah, la propriétaire du magasin de bricolage.  J'ai coupé l'arbre de Noël avec un pochoir et mis du papier à motif sur l'endos. J'ai ajouté un collant pour le sentiment et des rubans.
