BTC&G Love is in the Air/L'amour, toujours l'amour

Hello,

We have a new challenge starting today at By the Cute & Girly:  Love is in the Air!  That could be the love to our family, it could be a wedding day or other signs of love. We are looking forward to seeing your lovely projects. It doesn't have to be just papercraft - the challenge is open to any type of craft.   

I decided to make a card with very bright colours to go with the sweet digi image I got from one of the sponsors:  BUGABOO STAMPS.

The design team have some wonderful inspiration again for you this month, and 2 of the Bugaboo design team have also joined us!!

I used SU cardstock and I embossed the background with an animal print embossing folder.  I then took black embossing powder  to make them pop!  I coloured the ribbon with Copics and added gorgeous feathers from my cousin-in-law Amélie.  I made the sentiment with an alphabet stamp set.

Les cartons sont de SU et j'ai embossé le fond avec des marques de zèbre.  J'ai ensuite mis de la poudre d'embossage noire pour les mettre en relief.  J'ai colorié le ruban avec mes Copics et ajouté de belles plumes que  la cousine de mon mari Amélie m'a données.  J'ai fait le sentiment avec des estampes d'alphabet.

I coloured Skelekinzs-Heart with Copics and added Stickles.  I put some bling with my I-Rock.

J'ai colorié Skelekinzs-Coeur avec mes Copics et ajouté du Stickles.  J'ai mis des pierres avec mon I-Rock.

I have another Valentine's Day card.  I love the new Magnolia release, they're so adorable and this one is no exception!

Le carton est de SU et le papier à motif de Michaels.  J'ai découpé la bordure avec un poiçon de MS et ajouté du ruban de SU que j'ai colorié avec mes Copics.  Le sentiment est de Limecitron.  J'ai mis des petites perles avec Viva Decor Pearls.

The cardstock is SU and the patterned paper is from Michaels.  I use a MS punch for the border and added a SU ribbon that I coloured with Copics.  The sentiment is from Limecitron.  I put some pearls with Viva Decor Pearls.

J'ai colorié la petite Tilda avec mes Copics et ajouté du Stickles sur sa boucle.

I coloured Wild Tilda with Copics and added Stickles on her bow.

Je suis encore à la dernière minute!!!  Le défi à Christmas Challenge with Sketch finit dans quelque heures et j'ai décidé de suivre leur croquis.

I'm at the last minute again!!!  The challenge at Christmas Challenge with Sketch finishes in a few hours and I decided to participate.

Tout les cartons, ruban et papier à motif sont de SU.  J'ai vieilli et mis du Stickles sur les rebords.  J'ai ajouté des pierres avec mon I-Rock.

All cardstock, ribbon and patterned paper are from SU.  I distressed and put Stickles on the edges.  I added gems with my I-Rock.

J'ai colorié Edwin et les sapins avec mes Copics.  J'ai masqué Edwin pour ensuite estampé les arbres.  J'ai ajouté du Crystal Effects sur ses bottes, du Stickles sur la fourrure et du White Perfect Puff pour la neige sur les sapins.

I coloured Edwin with Copics.  I masked Edwin and then stamped the trees over top.  I added Crystal Effects on his boots, Stickles on the trim and White Perfect Puff for the snow on the trees.

Christmas Card Challenge Week/Semaine 9

Hello,

This week at Christmas Card Challenge, we want to see your favorite technique.  Mine is without a doubt, colouring with Copics!!!  Don't forget that the challenges are always optional as long as you make a Christmas/Winter card.

Cette semaine à Christmas Card Challenge, on veut voir votre technique favorite.  La mienne est sans aucun doute de colorier avec des Copics!!!  N'oubliez pas que les défis sont optionels, mais il faut que ce soit une carte de Noël/Hiver.

 I used SU patterned paper, sentiment and cardstock.  I cut the snowflake with a Spellbinders die cut and added a stone with my I-Rock.  I embossed the sentiment and added fake stitches with a silver gel pen.  I put Stickles around the edges.

J'ai utilisé du carton, papier à motif et sentiment de SU.  J'ai découpé le flocon avec un pochoir de Spellbinders et ajouté une pierre avec mon I-Rock.  J'ai embossé le sentiment et mis de fausses coutures avec un crayon gel argent.   J'ai mis du Stickles sur les rebords.

I coloured Tilda with cross stitch heart with Copics and added Crystal Effects on the flame.  I also put some Stickles on the trim of her hat and Smooch Illuminate on the heart.
 J'ai colorié Tilda avec mes Copics et ajouté du Crystal Effects sur la flame.  J'ai aussi mis du Stickles sur son chapeau et du Smooch Illuminate sur le coeur.

Me revoici, j'avais seulement quelque minutes pour participer au défi de  Sketch Saturday.
Les papiers à motif, carton et bouttons bleus sont de SU.  J'ai embossé le fond avec ma Cuttlebug.  Le sentiment est de Limecitron (merci Danielle pour le lien!!!).

It's me again, I only had a few minutes to participate in the challenge at Sketch Saturday.

J'ai une carte chevalet à secouer pour quelque défis, mais en autre, chez Magnolia Down Under challenge:  les couleurs du drapeau de notre pays.  Je suis Canadienne et notre drapeau est rouge et blanc.

I have an easel shaker card for a few challenge.  The one at Magnolia Down Under Challenge is to use the colours of our flag.  I'm Canadian and our flag is red and white.

J'ai utilisé du carton de SU et mis du Stickles sur les rebords.  J'ai embossé le panneau du fond avec ma Cuttlebug et colorié le ruban avec mes Copics.  Toutes les estampes sont de Magnolia.  J'ai découpé la carte, le contour de la fenêtre à secouer,les différentes couches de carton ainsi que les minuscules coeurs avec ma Cricut.
I used SU cardstock and put Stickles on the edges.  I embossed the white panel with my Cuttlebug and coloured the seam binding with Copics.  All stamps are from Magnolia.  I cut the card, frame around the shaker plastic, layers and mini hearts with my Cricut. 

Voici la carte fermée.  On peut voir les petits coeurs dans la fenêtre!  J'ai aussi ajouté des petites perles.
Here's the closed card.  You can see the little hearts in the window!  I also added sugar beads.

J'ai colorié Tilda et le titre avec mes Copics et ajouté du Smooch Illuminate et du Stickles.

It's rainy and windy here...  perfect time to make a card!!!

Le papier à motif est de My Mind's Eye et le carton de SU.  J'ai vieilli et mis du Stickles sur les rebords.  Les belles fleurs sont de WOC et le poiçon de feuille de MS.  J'ai ajouté de la dentelle et des petites "oeufs".

The patterned paper is My Mind's Eye and the cardstock is SU.  I distressed and put Stickles on the edges.  The beautiful flowers are from WOC and I used a MS punch for the leaves.  I added lace and robin's egg.

J'ai colorié l'image de LOTV avec mes Copics et ajouté du Crystal Effects sur la bouteille et du Stickles sur sa robe et ses bas.

I coloured LOTV image Little Nurse with Copics and added Crystal Effects on the bottle and some Stickles on her dress and socks.

J'ai une carte très simple pour le défi chez Kraftin' Kimmie:  sous les projecteurs.

Good evening,

I have a very simple card for the challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie:  in the spotlight.

Les cartons sont de SU et le ruban de mon magasin de bricolage.  J'ai découpé l'oval avec un pochoir de Spellbinders et ajouté du Stickles sur les rebords.  Le sentiment fait parti des sentiments de déesses de Kraftin' Kimmie.

The cardstock is from SU and the ribbon from my local craft store.  I made the oval with a Spellbinders die cut and added Stickles on the edges.  The sentiment is part the Goddess sentiment stamp set from Kraftin' Kimmie.

J'ai colorié Aphrodite avec mes Copics et ajouté du Crystal Effects sur le coeur.  J'ai trouvé la carte de Jenny si belle que j'ai décidé d'utiliser un effet Sépia.

I coloured Aphrodite with Copics and added Crystal Effects on the heart.  I love Jenny's card so much that I decided to use the same technique.  Instead of black and white, I used Sepia colours.

All cardstock, patterned papers and the punch to make the corners are SU.  I put Stickles around the edges and added a WOC ribbon that I coloured with my Copics.

I love this little bear, this is why you see a lot of cards with him, lol!!!  I coloured James the Bear from LOTV with Copics and added Stickles and Smooch Illuminate.

J'adore ce petit ourson, c'est pour ça que vous le voyez souvent sur mes cartes, *rire*!!!  J'ai colorié James l'ourson de LOTV avec mes Copics et ajouté du Stickles et Smooch Illuminate.

Ce ne sont pas des couleurs que j'aiment particulièrement, mais je crois que c'est réussi, *rire*!!!  Le carton, rubans et papier à motif sont de SU.  Le sentiment est de Tim Holtz et le coin de WOC.  J'ai mis des pierres avec mon I-Rock et fais les fleurs avec du feutre.  J'ai vieilli, encré et mis du Stickles sur les rebords.

It's not colours I particularly like, but I think it fits with the image, lol!!!  The cardstock, ribbons and patterned paper are SU.  The sentiment is Tim Holtz and the corner is from WOC.  I put some bling with my I-Rock and made the flowers with felt.  I inked, distressed and put Stickles on the edges.
