I made a single layer card with mamma kangaroo and her little baby. I coloured them with Prismacolor pencils.

I used Bobbing Boomerang stencil with Creamy Caramel (our ink of the month) and finished with some krafty dots.

I made a slimline card and coloured the adorable kangaroos with Prismacolor pencils. I finished with Stickles around the edges and krafty dots.

These adorable kangaroos are bouncing all over the place, ready to spread happiness and sweet messages! Of course Neda's sweet accessory stamps are perfect for lots of occasions and great to mix and match!

These guys are ready for fun with their animal buddies and have the most awesome sentiments for any occasion!

For this uplifting card, I made the background with one of the new stencil: Woodgrain 2. I used two KKS inks including the ink of the month: Creamy Caramel!!!

I added krafty dots, a ribbon and Stickles around the edges.

I coloured Lulu and her giraffe friend with Prismacolor pencils. I added the clouds with watercolour.

Monkey Business on candle at Kraftin' Kimmie

 Good morning krafty friends! 

It's June, and that means it's time for a brand new

SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

I decided to decorate a candle for a friend's birthday. I started by stamping and colouring my little scene with pencil and Copics. I started with my trusty Prismacolor pencils for the vines but it wasn't bright enough so I switched to Copics.

I then cut around the monkeys to leave as little white as possible. I cut a space in the candle to be able to put a tealight (battery one).

You will have to excuse me... it's really hard to take pictures of a continuous scene!!!

Let's start with the turquoise monkey...

Then the orange one...

Ok, you can see a tiny little bit of the purple one...

Yeah, purple monkey is up!!!

And here you can see purple and turquoise monkeys having fun!!!!

Glitter foil, flowers, purple with Funky Floral at Kraftin ‘ Kimmie

Good morning and welcome to our  

Monthly Saturday Challenge Mid Inspiration Post

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We are back today with an inspirational post showcasing more ideas to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing!

We can't wait to see what you create!

This month the challenge themes for you are: 

GLITTER/FOIL, FLOWERS and/or PURPLE!

You can choose any or all - whatever inspires you!

I picked ALL of them!!!!! I have a bit of foil on the flowers but it doesn't show very well in the picture :( .

I have glitter (Stickles around the edges), purple and flowers!!!!

I used Funky Florals layering stencil with watercolour... it's so pretty! I finished with a Friend die cut, a ribbon and some krafty dots.

Our Ink Of The Month, which will be on sale all month long, just happens to be a lovely shade of  PURPLE!! This month features the gorgeous Alluring Amethyst Ink Pad, Cube and Reinker!! Grab it now to add to your collection.

Krafty Girl Keri is up first, and we will be back later in the month with a mid-inspiration post!

Day #1 Monkey Business at Kraftin ‘ Kimmie

It's time for our May Release Peeks to begin

Today we’re featuring a sweet set of adorable monkeys

MONKEY BUSINESS

These cuties are ready for fun, and might just go bananas if you let them! 

I coloured this sweet monkey with Prismacolor pencils. I made the bottom part of the panel with the new stencil Stylish Stars and some watercolours. I finished with Krafty dots, Stickles around the edges and a ribbon.

For my second card, I used mostly the new layering stencil Butterfly Bounty that I paired with foil. I used the ink of the month, Alluring Amethyst for the background. I then added a ribbon with a sentiment from Monkey Business!!! I finished with krafty dots and Stickls once again.
