Favorite 5 Christmas cards

Hi all of you,

I hope you had a good Christmas filled with laughter, love and family.  Just a quick post to show you my favorite 5 Christmas cards for 2012 and to participate at A Scrapjourney.

Love the clean look of it.

J'aime le look simple.

I had a pickle of a time when I had to make a card with those colours, but I really like the end result.

Just love this card!

J'aime cette carte!

I was really happy with the contrast between Tilda and the roof.

This is definitively might best colouring!

C'est définitivement mon meilleur coloriage!

Marvelous Magnolia #8 Two or more stamps

Hi everyone,

Just 5 days to Christmas, so I took the liberty to make a very Christmasy card, lol!!!  We also have a new challenge at Marvelous Magnolia:

Use 2 or more Magnolia stamps.

I went a little overboard and picked 6!!!

Bonjour,

I made a very simple card since the image was huge.  I coloured all of them with Copics on Neenah cardstock. (Holy Tilda with lamb, Holy Edwin, Tilda with Holy Baby, Tilda captures Stars, Edwin with Goat and Holy House)

Totally Tilda #62

Hi,

Today is the start of the new challenge at Totally Tilda.  Since Christmas is coming soon, the challenge will last a little bit longer, you have till the 12 January!  We have a special theme this time:  make a calendar or calendar page.  Now, how much fun is this?!!!

For myself, I decided to make a chest of drawer that I saw on Splitcoaststamper.  The only problem I had, I don't have the die cut to make all the little match boxes!  So I had to make them all by hand...  24 of them!  It would be perfect for an Advent calendar with the perfect number of drawers!

Bonjour,

Watch out!  There's a lot of pictures!!!!

The completed chest of drawers.  I put Edwin and Tilda images, each side represent a season.  As you can see, I made an easel card that goes perfectly on top!  I added a little calendar that I found on the internet.
Because it wasn't complicated enough, I had to cut each screw for the knob as they were way too long for the drawers!

The image with the crackled glass technique.  She's my favorite Tilda/L'image avec la technique de verre craquée.  C'est ma Tilda favorite!

Before destroying her, lol!!!/Avant de la détruire, *rire*!!! (Star Tilda)

Winter/Hiver (Santa's little Helper, Tilda with two small Gifts)

Summer/Été (Surfing Edwin, Swimming Tilda)

Spring/Printemps (Magnolia Tilda, Edwin with Butterfly)

Blue, red and white at BTC&G

Hello,

This is the mid-month reminder for the challenge at By The Cute And Girly.  The theme is:

Blue, red and White.

Bonjour,

Voici le rappel pour le défi chez By The Cute And Girly.  Le thème est:

Bleu, rouge et blanc.

I made a box that I saw here.  Instead of having a wooden ball for the knob, I glued a piece of ribbon.  It only takes a 12 x 12 sheet of patterned paper for the box and some left over for the cover.  I added loads of WOC flowers.

Here's the open box.

Hi there,

I made a wedding card, but instead of the traditional couple, I put a Tilda from the new collection and added a congratulations sign.

I airbrushed the WOC flowers and added a pin.  I also coloured the ribbon with Copics.

Sitting Tilda at Totally Tilda

Hi everyone,

You still have a week to participate in the challenge at Totally Tilda.

The theme is:

Sitting Tilda.

Bonjour,

Tilda assise.

I don't usually go for such bright colours, but I fell in love with those sweet little gingerbread men!!!  I added some gems in the die cut corners and a little cookie cutter in the top left.  I bought this ribbon with my sister-in-law last year and just got to use it!

It' s very hard to take a picture when the cardstock is shimmery.

I coloured Chef Tilda with Copics on Cryogen White.  I was almost done colouring her when my deepest, darkest red made a big splotch on the bottom of her dress!  I tried to fix it, but you can still see where it happened.  This is why she has very pale pink socks, lol!!!

Hello,

I finally had time to make a card that wasn't for a DT!!!  Are you surprise...  it's purple lol!!!  After I bought a digital image from Mo Manning for my husband's birthday, I couldn't stop there.  The three little elves made it in my shopping cart.  Here's my favorite one.

I printed the image pretty big, so I had to keep the card simple.  I added pearls, lace, corners, snowflake charm and a poinsettia made with a Magnolia Doo Hickey.  I found a punch that I don't remember buying!!!  I used it the border behind the image.

I coloured Little Elf Pipa with Copics on Neenah cardstock.  I put sparkle on almost everything but it doesn't show on the picture.

Totally Tilda #61

Hi my lovelies!

There's a new challenge at Totally Tilda and it should be a pretty easy one!
Sitting Pretty
so we want to see a Tilda sitting down.

Bonjour,

I actually used both Tilda and Edwin under the Mistletoe.  I think they are so adorable.  I went for a sepia card.  The sentiment is from LOTV and I added some WOC flowers and a feather.

I colored Tilda under the Mistletoe and Edwin under the Mistletoe with Copics on Neenah cardstock.
