BTC&G March midway reminder

It's the middle of March already!  The design team has made some more fabulous creations for your inspiration for the March challenge at By The Cute And Girly:   "In The Kitchen".

Remember you can enter with any kind of craft, and with this months theme, what better time to cook up a storm in the kitchen and show it off?!

C'est le milieu du mois et un rappel pour le défi "Dans la cuisine" de By the Cute And Girly.  Vous pouvez entrer avec n'importe quel sorte de bricolage et avec le défi de ce mois, une bien belle idée serait de nous montrez vos talents de cuisiniers!!!  Vous pouvez nous montrer du jardinage, une carte, une page de collimage, des bijoux, le choix est infini en autant que vous suiviez le thème de la cuisine!

Et en plus, nous avous 3 merveilleux prix de nos sponsors.

Pour ma part, j'ai fait une page de collimage.  Je voulais mettre plusieurs photos, donc j'ai gardé le tout assez simple...  pas d'estampes ou de coloriage!!!  Le ruban et coins en métal sont de WOC.  J'ai fait le lettrage avec ma Cricut et la cartouche Art of Philosophy.  Ce sont des photos de mon frère et sa famille.  Mon neveu venait de manger un croissant au chocolat et je crois qu'il en avait plus sur sa jolie frimousse que dans son bedon, *rire*!!!

For myself, I made a scrapbooking page.  I wanted to put a few pictures, so I kept it fairly simple...  no stamps or colouring!!!  The seam binding and corners are from WOC.  I made the letters with my Cricut and the Art of Philosophy cartridge.  The text means:  A morning like any other.  These are pictures of my brother's family.  My nephew just ate a chocolate croissant and I think he had more on his cute face than in his belly, lol!!!

Christmas Card Challenge Week/Semaine 15

Hi everyone,

It's this time of the week again:  a challenge at Christmas Card Challenge!!!

For this weeks challenge, we would like to see you take inspiration from this beautiful picture in your cards.  Please keep in mind that all challenges are optional. The only real rule is that you must create a new Christmas Holdiay, Winter or Hanukkah card. Also, it is not necessary to use a SCRS stamp on your card, but we sure love it when you do!

C'est dimanche et ça veut dire que le nouveau défi de Christmas Card Challenge vient de commencer!!!
Pour cette semaine, on voudrait que vous vous inspiriez  de la belle photo sur vos cartes.  N'oubliez pas que les défis sont optionels.  La seule règle est de faire une carte de Noël ou d'hiver.

I got my inspiration from the picture but also from Céline.  She makes wonderful cards and puts this wonderful punch around the page.  Also, she always has those gorgeous flowers with the beautiful metal center (actually, she sent me this one!!!).  I embossed the crooked panel with the snowflake folder and added Stickles to the edges.  I stamped and embossed the sentiment that comes with the image.  I put some paper candi that I just got from my craft store.
J'ai pris mon inspiration de la photo, mais aussi de Céline.  Elle fait de merveilleuses cartes et elle ajoute le contour avec un poiçon.  Aussi, elle a toujours ces fleurs fantastiques dont elle met un beau centre en métal (d'ailleurs, c'est elle qui me l'a donné!!!).  J'ai embossé le paneau croche avec ma Cuttlebug et ajouté du Stickles sur les rebords.  J'ai estampé et embossé le sentiment qui vient avec l'image.  Je mis du "paper candi" dans les coins que j'ai acheté chez mon magasin de bricolage.

Here's the second card for the class I'm teaching at Carousel (the craft store where I spend all my money, lol!!!).

Encore une fois, tout le matériel est du magasin.  J'ai encré les rebords et mis de fausses coutures avec un crayon gel blanc.

All material is from the store.  I inked the edges and made stitches with a white gel pen.

J'ai colorié l'adorable petit lapin de Wee Stamp avec mes Copics et ajouté du Stickles sur la rose.

Je vais donner un autre cours à mon magasin de bricolage local (quand je dis MON magasin, ce n'est pas vrai,  c'est celui de Dejah, je fais juste dépenser mon argent là, *rire*!!!).  J'ai fait trois cartes et je vous montre la première.

Il fait très beau ici.  Le soleil est au rendez-vous et il ne vente pas!  J'ai une carte pour la fête du copain de ma belle-soeur.  Il est chef dans un restaurant et je crois que cette carte est parfaite pour lui!

It's really sunny here!  I have a birthday card for my sister-in-law's boyfriend.  He's a chef and I think this card is perfect for him!

Le papier à motif et carton sont de SU.  J'ai ajouté un ruban de WOC et des petits ronds "candi" d'Angleterre.  Le sentiment est de Kraftin' Kimmie et l'oval a été fait avec un poiçon de Spellbinders.  J'ai embossé le fond avec ma Cuttlebug.  J'ai choisi ce motif car il me rappelle les planchers un peu plus industriels!  J'ai mis du Stickles sur les rebords.

The patterned paper and cardstock is SU.  I added a WOC ribbon and paper candi from England.  The sentiment is Kraftin' Kimmie and I made the oval with a Spellbinders die cut.  I embossed the background with my Cuttlebug.  I choose this pattern because it reminds me of an industrial floor!  I put Stickles around the edges.

J'ai colorié Edwin de Magnolia avec mes Copics.  Surprise, il n'y a pas de brillant sur l'image, *rire*!!!

I coloured Pasta Edwin with Copics.  Surprise, there's no sparkle on the image, lol!!!

La fin de semaine est enfin arrivée!  Pour célébrer, j'ai fait une carte au couleur très printannières.

The week-end is finally her!  To celebrate, I made a card with spring colours.

Ce ne sont pas des couleurs que j'utilisent normalement, mais je crois que c'est assez réussi!  Le papier à motif est de DCWV et le carton de SU.  J'ai ajouté des fleurs de WOC et des coins faits avec un poiçon de Whimsy Stamps.  J'ai mis des pierres et du Stickles sur les rebords.  Le sentiment est de Kraftin' Kimmie.

It's not colours I normally use, but I think it's not too shabby!  The patterned paper is DCWV and the cardstock is SU.  I added WOC flowers and corners made with a Whimsy Stamps die cut.  I put Stickles on the edges and stones.  The sentiment is from Kraftin' Kimmie.

 Woot, woot...  I was really lucky.  My husband got me this Wonderful Winter Tilda, she's an exclusive stamp that only came out in the Netherlands.  It's for my birthday but he gave it to me a month early!!!
For this card, I used SU cardstock that I embossed with a paisley plate.  I then put white ink to make it pop.  The beautiful corner and snowflake border are die cuts from Memory Box.  I put the sentiment together with some SU stamps.  I made the circle with some punches.  I added lots of bling and Stickles.

Yeah!!!  J'ai été très chanceuse.  Mon mari m'a donné cette adorable Tilda, l'estampe est sorti seulement au Pays-Bas.  C'est pour ma fête mais il ne m'a pas fait languir et me l'a donné un mois avant ma fête!!!

Pour cette carte, j'ai utilisé du carton de SU que j'ai embossé.  J'ai mis de l'encre blanche pour faire resortir le tout.  Le beau coin et bordure sont de Memory Box.  J'ai mis quelque estampes de SU ensemble pour faire le sentiment.  J'ai ensuite ajouté beaucoup de pierres et du Stickles.

I'm a little disappointed in the picture.  The colour of her hat is actually the same as the cardstock!  I coloured Tilda with Copics and added Stickles and Smooch Illuminate.

La photo ne rend pas justice aux couleurs.  Le carton est de la même couleur que le chapeau et mitaines de Tilda!  Je l'ai colorié avec mes Copics et ajouté du Stickles et Smooch Illuminate.

I have a birthday card, it would be perfect for a mischievous little girl!!!

 J'ai utilisé du papier à motif et carton très vieux de SU.  J'ai mis beaucoup de fioritures et de brillant sous la forme de Stickles.  Le sentiment est de The Greeting Farms que la cousine de mon mari Amélie m'a donné.  J'ai finalement trouvé le courage de découper un morceau de film du rouleau que ma copine Céline m'a envoyé de France!!!  Merci Céline!

I used old SU patterned paper and cardstock.  I put lots of swirls and sparkle with Stickles.  The sentiment came with some Greeting Farms stamps.  I always seem to inherit the english sayings that my family won't use, lol!!!  So, I haven't got the images, just the words!  I finally found the courage to cut a piece of the roll of film strip that my friend Céline sent me from France!!!  Thanks Céline!

Here's my take on the challenge this month.

 Voici ma carte pour le défi de ce mois.

I used SU patterned paper and cardstock.  I embossed the background with a mushroom embossing folder.  I thought it was fitting with Little Red (or pink, lol) Riding Hood!!!  I used a Cheery Lynn design die cut for the circle and a SU sentiment.

J'ai utilisé du carton et papier à motif de SU.  J'ai embossé le fond avec un fichier à champignon.  Je trouvais que ça allait très bien avec le Petit Chaperon Rouge (ou rose, *rire*)!!!  J'ai fait le cercle avec un pochoir de Cheery Lynn design et pris une estampe de SU pour le sentiment.

I coloured the wonderful digi image from Spesch Designer Stamp called Little Red with Copics.  I added some gems, one for the button and one instead of the skull that was closing her cape.

J'ai colorié la merveilleuse image digitale de Spesch Designer Stamp qui s'appele Little Red avec mes Copics.  J'ai ajouté des pierres, une pour le bouton et l'autre par dessus la tête de squelette qui fermait sa cape.
