J'ai colorié Tilda avec mes Copics et j'ai été assez brillante pour prendre une photo avant de la mettre derrière le plastique, *rire*!!!

I coloured Tilda with Copics and was actually bright enough to take a picture before I put it behind the shaker plastic, lol!!!

Christmas Card Challenge Week/Semaine 14

Hi everyone,

It's this time of the week again:  a challenge at Christmas Card Challenge!!!

For this weeks challenge, we would like to see some embossing on your cards.  Please keep in mind that all challenges are optional. The only real rule is that you must create a new Christmas Holdiay, Winter or Hanukkah card. Also, it is not necessary to use a SCRS stamp on your card, but we sure love it when you do!

C'est dimanche et ça veut dire que le nouveau défi de Christmas Card Challenge vient de commencer!!!

Pour cette semaine, on voudrait voir de l'embossage sur vos cartes.  N'oubliez pas que les défis sont optionels.  La seule règle est de faire une carte de Noël ou d'hiver.

 Woot, woot...  I was really lucky.  My husband got me this Wonderful Winter Tilda, she's an exclusive stamp that only came out in the Netherlands.  It's for my birthday but he gave it to me a month early!!!
For this card, I used SU cardstock that I embossed with a paisley plate.  I then put white ink to make it pop.  The beautiful corner and snowflake border are die cuts from Memory Box.  I put the sentiment together with some SU stamps.  I made the circle with some punches.  I added lots of bling and Stickles.

Yeah!!!  J'ai été très chanceuse.  Mon mari m'a donné cette adorable Tilda, l'estampe est sorti seulement au Pays-Bas.  C'est pour ma fête mais il ne m'a pas fait languir et me l'a donné un mois avant ma fête!!!

Pour cette carte, j'ai utilisé du carton de SU que j'ai embossé.  J'ai mis de l'encre blanche pour faire resortir le tout.  Le beau coin et bordure sont de Memory Box.  J'ai mis quelque estampes de SU ensemble pour faire le sentiment.  J'ai ensuite ajouté beaucoup de pierres et du Stickles.

I'm a little disappointed in the picture.  The colour of her hat is actually the same as the cardstock!  I coloured Tilda with Copics and added Stickles and Smooch Illuminate.

La photo ne rend pas justice aux couleurs.  Le carton est de la même couleur que le chapeau et mitaines de Tilda!  Je l'ai colorié avec mes Copics et ajouté du Stickles et Smooch Illuminate.

I have a birthday card, it would be perfect for a mischievous little girl!!!

 J'ai utilisé du papier à motif et carton très vieux de SU.  J'ai mis beaucoup de fioritures et de brillant sous la forme de Stickles.  Le sentiment est de The Greeting Farms que la cousine de mon mari Amélie m'a donné.  J'ai finalement trouvé le courage de découper un morceau de film du rouleau que ma copine Céline m'a envoyé de France!!!  Merci Céline!

I used old SU patterned paper and cardstock.  I put lots of swirls and sparkle with Stickles.  The sentiment came with some Greeting Farms stamps.  I always seem to inherit the english sayings that my family won't use, lol!!!  So, I haven't got the images, just the words!  I finally found the courage to cut a piece of the roll of film strip that my friend Céline sent me from France!!!  Thanks Céline!

Here's my take on the challenge this month.

 Voici ma carte pour le défi de ce mois.

I used SU patterned paper and cardstock.  I embossed the background with a mushroom embossing folder.  I thought it was fitting with Little Red (or pink, lol) Riding Hood!!!  I used a Cheery Lynn design die cut for the circle and a SU sentiment.

J'ai utilisé du carton et papier à motif de SU.  J'ai embossé le fond avec un fichier à champignon.  Je trouvais que ça allait très bien avec le Petit Chaperon Rouge (ou rose, *rire*)!!!  J'ai fait le cercle avec un pochoir de Cheery Lynn design et pris une estampe de SU pour le sentiment.

I coloured the wonderful digi image from Spesch Designer Stamp called Little Red with Copics.  I added some gems, one for the button and one instead of the skull that was closing her cape.

J'ai colorié la merveilleuse image digitale de Spesch Designer Stamp qui s'appele Little Red avec mes Copics.  J'ai ajouté des pierres, une pour le bouton et l'autre par dessus la tête de squelette qui fermait sa cape.

I have another card for you.  I have to admit that I'm in love with the sweet Tilda and that I can't help using her!

Le carton et papier à motif sont de SU.  J'ai découpé les libellules avec un pochoir de Magnolia et pris un sentiment de chez Kraftin' Kimmie.  J'ai ajouté des pierres et du Stickles.

The cardstock and patterned paper is SU.  I made the dragonflies with a Magnolia Doo Hickey and used a Kraftin' Kimmie sentiment.  I added little gems and Stickles.

J'ai colorié la belle Tilda sur un carton Kraft avec mes Copics et ajouté un peu de Stickles.  J'ai mis du Crystal Effects sur les gouttes de pluie.  Pour faire le blanc, j'ai pris mes crayons de bois que j'ai depuis 30 ans, *rire*!!!

I coloured Tilda celebrates Summer with Copics on kraft cardstock and added a bit of Stickles.  I put some Crystal Effects on the rain drops.  For the white, I used white coloured pencil that I had for 30 years, lol!!!

The flowers are WOC.  I coloured the main one with Copics and added Viva Decor Gel for the rain drops.  I made the leaves with a MS punch.

J'ai une carte aux couleurs très vives que je n'utilise pas normalement.  Je n'aime pas vraiment l'orange, mais bon, il ne faudrait quand même pas que mes papiers soient jaloux, *rire*!!!

I have a card with very bright colours that I normally don't use.  I don't really like orange (the colour, not the fruit, lol), but, I didn't want my papers to be jealous!!!

J'ai utilisé du papier à motif de DCWV et des petits oeufs pour les bulles.  J'ai fait le cercle avec un pochoir de Cheery Lynn Design.  Le ruban et carton sont de SU.  Le sentiment est de Kraftin' Kimmie.  J'ai mis du Stickles sur les rebords, comme d'habitude!

I used DCWV patterned paper and robin's egg for the bubbles.  I made the doily with a Cheery Lynn Design.  The ribbon and cardstock are SU.  The sentiment is from Kraftin' Kimmie.  I put Stickles around the edges as usual!!!

J'ai colorié Tilda avec mes Copics.  J'ai ajouté du Viva Decor Gel pour les bulles et son masque.  C'est la première fois que je colore de l'eau et je suis assez contente du résultat!

I coloured Swimming Tilda with Copics.   I added Viva Decor Gel for the bubbles and her mask.  It's the first time I coloured water and I'm pretty happy with the result!

Mon mari m'a demandé de faire une carte de sympathie pour un conjoint de travail.  Ce n'est pas quelque chose que je fais souvent (bon d'accord, c'est la première fois!), donc, j'ai eu besoin d'aide.  Surtout que mon mari a beaucoup de restrictions:  pas de fleurs de dimension, pas fifille, pas d'image "cute"...  Je me suis inspirer fortement d'une carte que j'ai vu sur le blog de Michele.

My husband asked me to make a sympathy card for a coworker.  It's not something a do often (ok, it's the first time!), so I needed help.  Specially with the restrictions my hubby imposed:  not too girly, no flowers (3-D), no cutie image...   I lifted the design from Michele's blog and suited it to what I had at home.

C'est une carte assez grande pour que plusieurs persones puissent signer:  8 1/2" par 5 1/2".  Les estampes, ruban, cartons et pièce en métal sont de SU.  Les papiers à motif sont de mes retailles.  J'ai mis deux sentiments ensemble pour arriver à celui-ci.

It's a fairly big card so that many people can sign it:  8 1/2" by 5 1/2".  The stamps, cardstock, ribbon and hardware are from SU.  I got the patterned papers from my stash.  I put two sentiments together to get this one.

J'ai découpé la libellule avec un pochoir de Magnolia dans du vellum à motif.

I cut the dragonfly with a Magnolia die cut in patterned vellum.

Christmas Card Challenge Week/Semaine 13

I really like this colour combo:  purple and brown!  It's very relaxing.  The patterned paper is Tim Holtz and the cardstock and ribbon are SU.  I made the flowers with a Magnolia die cut and stamped a LOTV music sheet.  I made the pine needles with a MS punch and put a Limecitron sentiment.  I added little gems at random.
J'aime bien cette combinaison de couleurs:  mauve et brun!  C'est très relaxant.  Le papier à motif est de Tim Holtz et le carton et ruban de SU.  J'ai fait les fleurs avec un pochoir de Magnolia et estampé une feuille de musique de LOTV.  Les branches de pins ont été faites avec un poiçon de MS.  J'ai ajouté des petites pierres au hasard et mis un sentiment de Limecitron.

I coloured Winter Fairy from Wee Stamps with Copics.  I added Stickles on the trim and while it was still wet, I put some Glitter Ritz.  I put Stickles, Smooch Illuminate and bling on her wings.

I don't know if you like cupcakes, for me, I love them!!!  This card would be perfect to celebrate the birthday of somebody with a sweet tooth!!!

J'ai acheté le papier à motif de DCWV   voilà un petit bout, et j'avais oublié que je l'avais, *rire*!!!  C'est ce qui arrive quand on a trop de chose!!!  Le carton est de SU et le sentiment vennait avec l'image.  J'ai mis du Stickles sur les rebords et ajouté un beau coin en métal de WOC.

I bought the DCWV patterned paper a little while ago, and then I forgot I had it, lol!!!  That's what happens when you have to much stuff!!!  The cardstock is SU and the sentiment came with the image.  I put Stickles around the edges and added a beautiful corner from WOC.

J'ai colorié l'image de LOTV avec mes Copics et ajouté du Stickles sur ses ailes et du Smooch Illuminate sur le glaçage.

I coloured Never Too Old for Cupcake from LOTV with Copics and added Stickles on her wings and Smooch Illuminate on the icing.

J'ai une carte pour quelques défis.  J'aime vraiment cette combinaison de couleurs:  rose, brun et crème.. c'est tellement fifille, *rire*!!!

I have a card for a few challenges.  I really like this colour combo:  pink, brown and cream...  it's so girly, lol!!!

Tout les cartons et rubans sont de SU.  J'ai vieilli, encré et mis du Stickles sur les rebords.  J'ai ajouté un petit morceau de cotton fromage en arrière de l'image et fait le cercle avec un pochoir de Cheery Lynn design.

All cardstock and ribbons are from SU.  I distressed, inked and put Stickles on the edges.  I added a little piece of cheesecloth behind the image and used a Cheery Lynn Design die cut for the circle.

J'ai colorié la belle Tilda avec mes Copics.  J'ai ajouté du Stickles sur son ruban, du Smooch Illuminate sur sa chemise et chapeau et du Crystal Effects sur ses bottes.

I coloured the gorgeous Tilda with Bunny with Copics.  I added Stickles on her bow, Smooch Illuminate on her shirt and hat and Crystal Effects on her boots.

J'ai fait les papiers à motif avec une estampe d'amitié de SU et de papillons de Magnolia.  J'ai embossé les petits papillons pour donner de la texture.  On peut voir le mot "friend" (ami) dans les coins gauches.

I made the patterned paper with a SU friendship background stamp.  I then stamped Magnolia butterflies that I embossed for texture.  You can see the word "friend" in the left corners.

J'ai découpé les papillons avec un pochoir de Magnolia et mis de petites pierres.

I used a Magnolia Doo Hickey for the butterflies and added little gems.
