J'ai un couple d'amis et leur fête est la même journée.  Donc, j'essaie de leur faire des cartes qui vont ensemble.  Je vous présente celle de Madame et pour mon prochain message, celui de Monsieur!

I have a friends (a couple) and their birthday is the same day.  So, I try to make matching cards for them.  Right now I will show you hers, then later, on a different post, I will present his!

La couleur favorite de mon amie est le turquoise, c'est donc pourquoi j'ai choisi ce thème.  Le papier à motif est de My Mind's Eye, le reste du papier et les rubans sont de SU.  J'ai épongé de l'encre or autour de papier blanc pour faire mon papier doré!  La rose est de Wild Orchid Crafts.  La lettre du fond et le sentiment sont des estampes de Lili of the Valley.  J'ai ajouté des perles blanches avec Viva Decor Pearl...  Il faut bien quelque perles quand on est proche de la mer, *rire*!!!

My friend's favorite colour is teal, so that's why I choose this theme.  The patterned paper is My Mind's Eye, the other paper and the ribbons are SU.  I sponged some gold ink around white paper to make my own golden paper!  The rose is from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The letter in the background and the sentiment are Lili of the Valley stamps.  I added some white pearls with Viva Decor Pearl...  You need some pearls when you're around the sea, lol!!!

J'ai colorié Florence de Kraftin' Kimmie avec mes Copics et ajouté du Crystal Effects sur ses lunettes de soleil.  J'ai mis un peu de marqueur Spica or sur sa ceinture.

I coloured Florence from Kraftin' Kimmie with Copics and added Crystal Effects on her sunglasses.  I put some gold Spica marker on her belt.

J'ai fait les coquillages avec du Shrinky Dink, ma Cricut et la cartouche Everyday Paper Doll.  J'aime plutôt le résultat!  J'ai ensuite vaporisé du Shimmer Spritz pour leur donner un effet luisant.

I made the seashells with Shrinky Dink, my Cricut and the Everyday Paper Doll cartridge.  I then vaporized some Shimmer Spritz to give them some luster.

J'ai fait cette carte pour un collègue de travail qui est posté.  Je l'ai gardé relativement simple pour un gars.

I made this card for a co-worker who's getting posted.  I tried to keep it relatively simple since it's for a guy.

J'ai utilisé du papier de SU ainsi que le ruban.  J'ai ajouté des pierres avec mon I-Rock et des attaches française dont j'ai donné des coups de marteau (très bonne thérapie pour relaxer!!!.  L'estampe du fond est de Lili of the Valley.

I used ribbon and papers from SU.  I added some bling with my I-Rock and also some brads that I smashed with a hammer (fantastic relaxing therapy!!!).  The background stamp is Lili of the Valley.

J'ai colorié Tilda avec mes Copics et ajouté des Sitckles sur la dentelle et du Crystal Effects sur sa larme.   J'ai découpé et collé du papier à motif de My Mind's Eye pour sa poche et son mouchoir.
I coloured Tilda with Copics and added Stickles on her lace and Crystal Effects on her tear.  I paper pieced her pocket and tissue with My Mind's Eye cardstock.

Élégant/ Classy

Bon début de fin de semaine à tous!
J'ai finalement réussi par faire mon projet pour le défi chez Magnolia-Licious challenge blog.  Il y a une photo d'inspiration dans les douces couleurs de mauve, crème et sauge.  C'est dans une salle à manger très élégante et c'est pourquoi j'ai pensé à une carte de marriage...  ou de fête (peu importe, je la trouve bien belle *rire*)

I finally made my project for Magnolia-Licious challenge.  There's a picture for inspiration in soft purple, cream and sage.  It's a very elegant dinning room, that's why I thought about a wedding card...  or a birthday one (whatever, I just like it a lot, lol!!!).

J'adore l'estampe de musique de Lili of the Valley, je trouve qu'elle donne une touche classique à toute mes créations!  Les papiers mauves sont de My Mind's Eye,le reste du papier et le ruban sont de SU.  J'ai vieilli et épongé les contours avec de l'encre Distress.  J'ai aussi mis du Stickles autour de certains papiers.  J'ai découpé l'oval avec un pochoir de Spellbinder.
I love the music background stamp from Lili of the Valley.  I think that it gives such a classy touch to all my creations!  The purple patterned paper are My Mind's Eye, the rest of the cardstock and the ribbon are SU.  I distressed all the edges and sponged distress ink.  I also put some Stickles around some of the papers.  I made the oval with a Spellbinder die cut.

J'ai colorié Tilda avec mes Copics.  Je crois qu'elle a mis trop de fond de teint, sa face est très foncé!!!  J'ai ajouté des petites perles avec Viva Decor Pearl et souligné les plis de sa robe avec un marqueur Spica.

I coloured Tilda with Copics.  I think she put too much foundation on, her face is really dark!!!  I added little pearls with Viva Decor Pearls and highlighted her dress with Spica marker.

Les fleurs sont de Wild Orchid Crafts.  J'ai épongé de l'encre sur certaines roses et mis des Stickles par la suite.  Les branches sont faites avec un poiçon de MS.

The flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts.  I sponged distress ink on some of the roses and added Stickles.  The branch are made with a MS punch.

Je ne veux pas me vanter, mais je crois que je m'améliore pour faire des perles de grosseur égales!!!

I don't want to brag, but I think I'm getting better at making same size pearls!!!

C'est la fête d'un collègue de travail bientôt et je viens de finir sa carte.  Il aime le golf et je trouve que cette image est très approprié!

One of my co-worker's birthday is coming soon and I just finished his card. He likes golf and I find this image perfect!

J'ai utilisé une estampe de Kraftin' Kimmie, le sentiment vient avec Raymond.  Tous les papiers ainsi que les rubans sont de SU.  

I used a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp, the sentiment comes with Raymond.  All papers as well as the ribbons are from SU.

J'ai colorié Raymond avec mes Copics et ajouté du Crystal Effects sur son baton de golf.  Sa chemise et son chapeau ont été découpé dans du papier à motif.  J'ai utilisé une technique que j'ai trouvé ici pour faire le ciel.  Je trouve que j'ai assez bien réussi, *rire*!!!

I coloured Raymond with Copics and added Crystal Effects on his golf club.  I paper pieced his shirt and hat.  I used a technique that I found here to make the sky.  I think that I did a pretty good job of it, lol!!!

J'ai découpé le terrain de golf et la balle avec ma Cricut et la cartouche EveryDay Paper Doll.  J'ai mis de la profondeur avec mes marqueurs W3 et W1 et j'ai aussi épongé avec de l'encre Chocolate Chip.

I cutted the green and the golf ball with my Cricut and Everyday Paper Doll cartridge.  I added some depth with Copics W3 and W1 and I also sponged with Chocolate Chip ink.

J'ai mis du Crystal Effects sur la balle de golf et j'ai encore épongé et mis de la couleur avec mes Copics.
I put some Crystal Effects on the ball and again some sponging and Copics.

Distressing with Copics

Aujourd'hui j'ai essayé une nouvelle technique avec mes Copics.   Ça imite l'effet de prendre de l'encre et un pinceau.  Je ne suis pas sure du résultat final!!!

Today I tried a new technic with my Copics.  It gives the effect of using distress ink and a paint brush.  I'm not overly happy with the final result!

Pour le défi à Magnolia Down Under, il faut utiliser les couleurs mauve, pêche et crème.  Je ne rafolle pas du pêche, donc j'ai décidé d'en mettre très peu!  Le papier carroté est de DCWV, j'ai le morceau de papier beige depuis une éternité et je ne sais pas d'ou il vient!  Le reste du papier est de SU.  J'ai fait la bordure avec un poiçon de MS.  J'ai ajouté des fausses perles avec Viva Decor Pearl et du Stickles.  Le sentiment est de Lili of the Valley.

For Magnolia Down Under challenge, we have to use purple, peach and cream.  I'm not a big fan of peach, so I decided to use very little of it!  The gingham paper is from DCWV and the beige patterned paper is from my stash.  The rest of the cardstock is SU.  I made the border with a MS punch and a added loads of Stickles.  The pearls were made with Viva Decor Pearl.  The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.

I coloured Tilda with Copics and added Stickles on the fairie dust.

The flowers and ribbon are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I put some colour on the ribbon with Copics and added Stickles on the roses.

J'ai aussi ajouté du gel transparent de Viva Decor Gel pour faire l'effet de gouttes d'eau!

I also added some clear gel from Viva Decor Gel to make it look like morning dew!

Je viens de completer cette carte de Noël en suivant le croquis de Peachy Keen Stamp.  En voici le résultat:

I just completed this Christmas card following the sketch at Peachy Keen Stamp.  Here's the result:

J'ai colorié le ruban avec mes Copics pour qu'il coordonne avec le reste de la carte.  Tout papiers sont de SU.  Le cercle est un pochoir de Cheery Lynn Design et les fioritures de Marianne Design.  J'ai ajouté des petites pierres avec mon I-Rock et mis du Stickles.  J'ai épongé le tout avec de l'encre SU.

I coloured the ribbon so that it would fit with the rest of the card.  All papers are SU.  The circle is a die cut from Cheery Lynn Design and the swirls are from Marianne Design.  I added bling with my I-Rock and also some Stickles.  I sponged everything with SU inks.

Merry est une estampe de Kraftin' Kimmie ainsi que le sentiment.  Je l'ai colorié avec des Copics et ajouté du Crystal Effects sur la dinde pour la faire paraitre juteuse!!!  J'ai découpé un morceau de papier à motif pour son naperon.

Merry is a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp as his the sentiment.  I colored her with Copics and added some Crystal Effects on the turkey to make it look glazed!!!  I paper pieced her apron.

Je veux vous présenter cette carte dont je suis assez fière.  C'était un gros défi pour moi d'utiliser ces couleurs.

I want to show you this card, I really like it.  It was a huge challenge for me to use those colours.

Je n'avais qu'une demie feuille de papier doré, alors j'ai décidé de prendre un stylo de peinture métallique et de faire les contours en or!!!  J'ai utilisé plusieurs estampes de différentes places:  le sentiment est de Kraftin' Kimmie, la musique de Lili of the Valley, les feuilles de gui de Elusive Image et bien entendu la jolie Tilda de Magnolia!  J'ai pris la dentelle chez mon magasin de tissu, le poiçon pour les coins est de EK Success et celui de la bordure est de MS.  J'ai fait les petites perles avec Viva Decor Pearl.

I only had half of a golden sheet, so I decided to take a Gold Leafing pen and put it around the edges!!!  I used many stamps:  the sentiment is from Kraftin' Kimmie, the music sheet from Lili of the Valley, the holly is Elusive Image and obviously, the cute Tilda from Magnolia!  The lace is from my local fabric store, the corner punch is EK Success and the border punch is MS.  I made the little pearls with Viva Decor Pearl.

I coloured Tilda with Copics.  I had a really hard time finding markers to make a beige/cream dress.  If anybody has a good combination, I would appreciate if you could tell me!

I added Stickles on her halo and her wings as well as Spica clear marker on her dress.

Fête des pères avec Cricut/ Father's day with Cricut

Voici une carte très rapide pour mon beau-père.

Good evening,

Here's a really quick card for my father-in-law.

Tout le matériel est de SU sauf le marqueur Spica en doré pour le tour des silouhettes.  J'ai utilisé la cartouche A Child's Year et George and Basic Shapes pour les cercles.

All material is from SU except for the golden Spica marker around the shadows.  I used A Child's Year cartridge as well as George and Basic Shapes for the circles.

J'ai mis deux Action Wobbles pour mettre un peu d'entrain!

I put two Action Wobbles to make them dance!!!

Bonjour, je suis de retour!!!  Finalement je peux faire du bricolage!!!  La première chose est une carte pour la fête des pères.  Avec la grève de la poste, il faut que je me dépèche et que j'envoie le tout très bientôt!

Hello, I'm back!!!  Finally, I can craft again!!!  The first thing is a father's day card.  With the postal strike, I have to hurry and get it send soon!

J'ai utilisé du papier d'aluminium et embossé avec ma Cuttlebug.  Le papier est de SU.  J'ai fait le bouton rond avec des poiçons et les X avec ma Cricut et la cartouche Birthday Bash.  J'ai coupé le papier brun avec un pochoir en forme de timbre.

I used foil paper and embossed it with my Cuttlebug.  The cardstock is SU.  I made the circle button with punches and the X's with my Cricut and the Birthday Bash cartridge.  The brown paper was die cut with a stamp shape.

L'estampe est de Lili of the Valley.  Je la trouve mignonne comme tout!  Je l'ai colorié avec mes Copics et ajouté du Stickles et des pierres avec mon I-Rock.

The stamp is from Lili of the Valley.  Isn't he adorable?!!!  I colored him with Copics and added Stickles and gems with my I-Rock.
