C'est samedi et c'est le temps pour un nouveau défi chez Kraftin' Kimmie!!!!! Cette fois-ci le thème est: choses avec des ailes.

Are you ready for some fun and krafty challenges to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing? We've got some fabulous ideas for you and can't wait to see what you create. This week your hostess is Krafty girl Allison and her challenge for you is: things with wings!

 J'ai fait une carte de Noël avec des couleurs non traditionnelles. J'ai pris un stencil pour faire les lumières. Pour finir, j'ai mis un sentiment, des points en émail et du Stickles sur les rebords.

I made a Christmas card in non traditional colours. I made the lights with a stencil. I added a sentiment, krafty dots and Stickles on the edges.

 J'ai colorié les fées avec mes crayons Prismacolor.

I coloured the fairies with Prismacolor pencils.

Blog Hop with O Holy Night at Kraftin' Kimmie

C'est aujourd'hui le blog hop chez Kraftin' Kimmie et j'ai une carte à vous montrer

Woot Woot!

Today we are celebrating all the new holiday things in our September release they are available right now at Kraftin' Kimmie!!! 
All THREE new clear stamp sets are available over at the Krafty Shop: O HOLY NIGHT, A CRACKIN' HOLIDAY and SANTA'S RIDE

Along with our scrumptious new PRECIOUS PINK ink, TWO new Krafty Stencils TWINKLE LITTLE STAR and HOLIDAY LIGHTS and our new CHRISTMAS Krafty Dots!! 

Yaaaay!

So I decided to show you the baby card I made with the O Holy Night stamp set!!!!!

J'ai fait une carte eclipse.  J'ai estampé et colorié les vaches et les moutons avec mes Copics. J'ai ensuite masqué les images et j'ai pris le stencil Twinkle Little Star pour ajouter les étoiles. J'ai fini avec du Stickles sur les rebords, deux petits sentiments et des points en émail.

Ensuite, j'ai coupé les lettres avec une machine à coupe (Scan n Cut dans ce cas si, mais Cricut ou Silhouette aurait tout aussi bien fonctionné ainsi que des découpes). J'ai collé les morceaux intérieurs en positionnant les lettres auparavant pour m'assurer que lee tout soit bien aligné. Pour assembler, j'ai adhéré les lettres coupées avec des points en mousse (foam tape) pour leurs donner de la dimension.

I made an eclipse card. I stamped and coloured the cows and sheep with Copics. I then masked the images and used the Twinkle Little Star to add all the stars. I added Stickles to the edges, two tiny sentiments and Christmas krafty dots.

Day #3 A Crackin' Holiday at Kraftin' Kimmie

C'est la troisième journée des nouveautés pour le mois de septembre chez Kraftin' Kimmie et je vous présente le set d'estampe A CRACKIN' HOLIDAY de Neda Sadreddin !!!! C'est une collection de Casses Noisettes hilarantes!!!!

Welcome back for the third day for the September release. We are showing you a set of hilarious Nut Cracker by artist Neda Sadreddin It's called...

A CRACKIN' HOLIDAY

How fun are these nutcrackers? You may have caught a glimpse of these guys over the weekend as this set was part of one of our virtual retreat classes with Krafty Girl Allison!

We're so excited to share this fabulous set with you! Three nutty characters, some accessory stamps and some hilarious sentiments to design some perfect holiday creations!

  

You will spot our newest addition to the Krafty Kolours Hybrid Ink rainbow. It's an amazing soft pink called:

PRECIOUS PINK

We've got TWO brand new Krafty Stencils for this month's release to help accessorize your creations!

They are called TWINKLE LITTLE STAR and HOLIDAY LIGHTS!

And of course, we are adding the perfect new coordination Krafty Dots for this release. The package includes enamel dots in varying sizes in 6 different colours! These ones are called

CHRISTMAS KRAFTY DOTS!

J’ai fait une autre carte interactive!!! Les casses-noisettes tournent en rond... et pour la pièce de résistance: ils restent sur leurs pieds!!!!!! Pour la touche finale, j'ai ajouté des points en émail et du Stickles sur les rebords

I made another interactive card!!! The nutcrackers turn in a circle... and they stay on their feet!!!! For the final touch, I added krafty dots and Stickles on the edges. I used the Twinkle Little Star stencil behind the sentiment.

J'ai colorié les casses-noisettes avec mes crayons Prismacolor.

I coloured the nutcrackers with Prismacolor pencils.

Voici le mécanismes pour faire fonctionner la carte. J'ai du le faire 3 fois pour pouvoir accommoder les 3 casses-noisettes.

Here's the mechanism for the card. I had to make it 3 times for all 3 images.

Day #2 Santa's Ride at Kraftin' Kimmie

C'est la deuxième journée des nouveautés pour le mois de septembre chez Kraftin' Kimmie et je vous présente le set d'estampe SANTA'S RIDE de Sabrina van Vloten !!!! C'est parfait pour Noël, avec le train, les wagons et tous les éléments pour aller dans les wagons!

What would a holiday release be without the man in red himself?!!! This adorable new set features Santa and he's on his way to deliver some Christmas joy... by TRAIN! You've got the jolliest elf in the engine and there are two different sized train cars plus a bunch of fabulous people and items you can interchange to go in the carts! You can make your choo choo as long as you want!!! This set is so packed full of images and holiday fun!

 J'ai fait une carte interactive, le train bouge quand on tire sur la languette!!!!! Et on peut aussi changer le cargo dans les wagons!!!! Il y a 26 aimants pour faire fonctionner le tout!!! Pour l'arrière plan, j'ai utilisé le stencil Holiday Lights et j'ai mis le chemin de fer au bas.

I made an interactive card... the train moves when you pull on the tab!!!! And you can also change the cargo that goes in the wagon!!!! There's 26 magnets to make it work!!! You can remove the wagons as well! For the background, I used the Holiday Lights stencil and put train tracks at the botton. I added some krafty dots.

 J'ai colorié toutes les images avec mes crayons Prismacolor. 

I coloured all the images with Prismacolor pencils.

Day #1 O Holy Night at Kraftin' Kimmie

Our Christmas Krafty Peeks begin today and you're not going to believe the fabulous goodies we have in store for you this month! As you may know, our September release is always focused on the HOLIDAYS!!!!

Today is Day One and you may have spotted this precious stamp set over the retreat weekend because it was the focus of Krafty Girl Paula's pencil colouring class! I also used it in the Fancy Folds class.

 J’ai fait une carte bien simple pour que l'image soit en premier plan. J'ai ajouté de la poudre d'embossage très épaisse (UTEE) pour donner l'impression d'âge.

I made a simple card to bring the image to the forefront. I wanted to create an aged look to the whole scene so I used watercolour. I put some ultra thick embossing enamel (UTEE) on top to add texture.

 

Pour la première fois, j'ai colorié la scène complète avec mes aquarelles. Je suis super contente des résultats!!!

My very first complete scene coloured with watercolour!!! I'm so happy with the results!!!!!

 J'ai fait une carte de Noël pour un ami. Il voulait représenter le Canada et naturellement, les castors c'est parfait!!!! J'ai utilisé des papiers à motif de Photo Play et Echo Park. Pour finir, j'ai mis un sentiment, des rubans,  des points en émail et du Stickles sur les rebords.

I made a Christmas card for a friend. He wanted something that represented Canada and beavers are the perfect thing!!! I used Photo Play and Echo Park patterned papers. For the finishing touch, I added a sentiment, ribbons, krafty dots and Stickles on the edges.

 J'ai colorié les castors avec mes crayons Prismacolor.

I coloured the beavers from You're Gnaw-Some with Prismacolor pencils.

Circles with That's a Wrap at Kraftin' Kimmie

C'est samedi et c'est le temps pour un nouveau défi chez Kraftin' Kimmie!!!!! Cette fois-ci le thème est: cercles.

Good morning and welcome to another Saturday challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Are you ready for some fun and krafty challenges to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing? We've got some fabulous ideas for you and can't wait to see what you create. This week your hostess is Krafty girl Delphine and her challenge for you is: circles!

 J'ai fait une petite carte de 4" par 4". Pour le fond, j'ai utilisé deux stencils, un par dessus l'autre. J'ai ensuite vaporisé des Distress Oxyde. Après, j'ai mis de la poudre à embosser claire et saupoudré de la poudre brillante. Pour finir, j'ai mis un sentiment, des points en émail et du Stickles sur les rebords.

I made a small 4" by 4" card. For the background, I used two stencils, one over the other one and then sprayed some Distress Oxyde. After, I added clear embossing powder and sprinkled some glittery powder. For the finishing touch, I added a sentiment, krafty dots and Stickles on the edges.

 

 J'ai colorié la jolie demoiselle du set That's a Wrap avec mes crayons Prismacolor.

I coloured the little lady from That's a Wrap with Prismacolor pencils.
