Hello everyone,
I made this Christmas card using my Copics. This was actually the very first time I used them. It just took me some courage to put it up!!!
Don't you think he's such a cutie? The stamps and paper is SU. The ribbon is from Walmart. I don't really like the base card colour, but I have a ton of it, so I sprayed it with Walnut ink. I think it looks vintage and I like it! I used a little punch from SU for the corner of the tag. I put some faux stitching around the card and added some buttons from my stash.
I entered it in One Stop Craft Challenge .
Hope you enjoy,
Brigitte

PKS challenge 41 Encouragement
Hello crafters,
The challenge at Peachy Keen stamp is to make a card of encouragement.
The second picture is bleached out but you can see it without shadow.
I used Seaside sketches stamp from SU. The ribbon and paper is also SU. I colored my image with my new Copics. I made the flowers following a technique from Enfys at Going Buggy and added the pearl center with Liquid Pearl. The punch is Martha Stewart, I also added some white gel pen doodle and I wrote the sentiment!
Hope you enjoy,
Brigitte

First time with Copics!
Hello everyone,
I bought some Copics and I don't think I'm very good at it. This is actually my second card with them. I followed the sketch at Sketch saturday.
This is what I came up with:
The paper, stamps and ribbon is from Stampin' Up. I used my new Copics to color the snowmen. The punch is Martha Stewart. I put some bling with my I-Rock! The buttons are from my stash, can't remember where.
Please leave me a comment to tell me how I can improve my coloring skills!!!
Have a great week-end.

Purple Snowmen card
Hi again,
I made this sweet little card for Christmas. Purple is my favorite colour, I know it's not very Christmasy, but who cares!!! Certainly not me! I'm entering this card for
One Stop Craft Challenge: snow person
and Stampin' for the Weekend: winter project.
The stamp is SU The jolliest time of the year. All material is SU except for the Glitter Ritz that I put on the white piece of cardstock. I embossed the dark purple with the Tiny Bubbles folder.
I love how it turned out.
See you later,
Brigitte

You're invited to participate in a good cause!
Hi,
At Turned Gypsy, Chris has a great idea to send cards and tags for little boys and girls in hospital. I will send her those 2 cards by the mail on Monday:
I used the Hello Kitty Greeting and the new Lite cartridge Jolly Holidays.
For the little girl card, I used the card feature at 5 1/2" and cut all the layers. I sponged and added some white accents. The green shimmery elements are made with Glitter Ritz. All paper and inks from both cards are SU.
For the elf, I cut him at 3 1/2" and I had to do some creative cutting since it's not on my Gypsy yet!!! On the white trim, I put some Liquid Appliqué and then some stickles on the green. The face is Basic Paper Doll from Peachy Keen Stamps.
I'm entering the Elf card on PKS Let's Face it Friday. It had to be an invitation to a party. This card is to make sure that kids all over America gets a little party, even in the hospital!
I just wanted to thank Michelle at Purple Monkey Moments for telling me where she saw the new Lite cricut cartridges.

Hello everyone,
I got called at 2:35 AM, yes I said AM!!!, for a Search and Rescue along the coast. The fishing boat got rescued by Coast Guard so we didn't have to launch the helicopter. All this to tell you that I just got up, again, and I'm posting this for Emma's Throwback Thursday Episode 128. Here are the rules:
****Challenge is based on "ORIGINALITY"
****Must be a "CRICUT~LESS" project that consists of some kind of "THANK YOU" on it!
****Feel free to use any Punches, I-Rock etc..... but NOT a CRICUT or GYPSY!
****Must be an ORIGINAL project made especially for THIS challenge
****ONE entry Per Person Please.
****Deadline for project will be WEDNESDAY, December 1st @ 6:00pm PST
****Last but Not Least~ HAVE FUN!!
The stamp is Botanical Garden from Su. I used a glue pad to stamp the image and then put some Glitter Ritz on top. I cuttlebugged the light blue with Swiss Dots and the punch is MS. I added a ribbon that I tied with my Bow Easy and put a brad in the center.
The sentiment means Thanks in french!
Very simple card but I find it elegant!

Wedding invitation
Hello crafters,
I'm posting this card for a Wedding invitation challenge at The Scrapbooking Queen. Her daughter is getting married and she wants a unique designed invitation that is both elegant and incorporate her colours (sapphire blue, black and silver).
I used the Icon creative feature of Wild Card cartridge at 1.5" real size. I embossed the Pacific Point cardstock with the D'vine Swirl folder and then inked it with silver. The stamp is Watercolor Minis from SU, the rest of the material is also from SU except for the ribbon. The cardstock is silver but it looks white in the picture. I used Bow Easy to make the bow, don't know what I would do without it!!! I added some stickles to the bride so she can shine for her special day!
I hope you, and specially the bride-to-be, enjoy,
Brigitte

Kisses Christmas card
Hi everyone,
I've been waiting to post this card for a few days now. I received a Cottage Cutz die set that I won by leaving a comment on Paper Punch Addiction blog. It's the cutest little monsters with 3 differents PKS monster faces.
Since I received it last week, after Halloween, I decided to be creative. This is what I came up with:
I cut just the head portion of the monster to make some Kisses!!! I then stamped some PKS, more specifically, Retro Paper Doll, Funshine and Dolly Dumplins faces. I used the Forever Young cartridge for the box and Christmas Cheer for the leaves. I added some bling with my I-Rock, sponged the edges and doodled with a white and Early Espresso marker. I made the little Kisses tail with some tissue paper and stamped on it with Sweet Talk from SU (might be retired?) The paper, ribbon and ink is SU. The sentiment is from my local craft store, can't remember the name of the company.
This is the inside of the card, I managed to glue the strip of paper crooked, lol!!!
I hope you enjoy, leave me some comments telling me how you like it, or not!

Congratulation card
Hey everyone,
I made a congratulation card for my friend. She just got a new job and she's in heaven. We're going to brunch with her and her kids and I will give her this sweet card.
The paper, ink, punch, ribbon and the "Félicitations" stamp are from SU. I added some Diamond stickles and some faux stitching with white and brown pen. I sponged around the edges of the cardstock. The face is from the set Dolly Dumplins at PKS. I never thought I would use the 3/8" size, but it fits perfectly!!!
I will enter my card in the Let's face it Friday challenge at Peachy Keen Stamp. Your project had to have polka dot, white as main focal point and obviously using one of their cute faces!
Have a great Sunday, we're headed off to brunch.

Christmas card with Speaking of Winter
Hi everyone,
I made a card for Cricut Cardz Challenge: Make a card for Christmas, using the card feature from any cartridges you'd like, using any colors you'd like.
I used the cartridge Speaking of Winter and the first letter (A), duh!!! I cut the Tri-fold card at 4.10" and I also cut the tree and its layers at 3.12" so it would fit my card. All paper and stamp is from SU. I cuttlebugged with D'vine Swirl, one of my favorite! I added some bling with my I-Rock and some faux stiching. I stamped the sentiment with Staz-on gold ink.
I sprayed the tree and the pink accent with gold Sheer Shimmer Spritz to add some dimension. Here's another picture so you can see how it opens. Also, this is Salem, she's a great card holder!!! She's just sunning herself and relaxing, lol!!!
Hope you enjoy and have a great week-end.

Personalized stamp
Hello,
I just wanted to tell you about this seller on ebay that offers presonalized stamp. They're super cheap, I ordered 6 and it cost me 36.40$ US and the shipping is also very reasonable, 2.50$ for the whole lot.
The company is in Malaysia and it takes a bit of time to get the order, but the person making them (I dealt with Chris) is super quick in coming back with a preview. It literally took about 2 hours and I had the image of what my stamps would look like!!! Also, they will make stamps in any language you want.
As you can see, mine are french. There is a lot of choices, I ordered some for gifts and an address one. The quality is not the greatest, but at that price, it is well worth it! The back sticks a lot, so I bought some cheap acrylic blocks and assigned them to the stamps.
The name of the store on ebay is: loongchai74
I hope that it will help some of you,
Brigitte

Lego Birthday card
Wow, another post today.
The previous card was for a little boy. This one is for his older brother. He just turned 9 a few days ago and he loves Lego!!! So I decided to make him a card:
Don't you think that he looks like the minifigurine?
I used Everyday Paper Doll cartridge for the little guy and Opposites Attract for the LEGO. I cut the shapes with George and Basic Shapes. All the material is from SU.
The face is from PKS. Just after I finished my card, I received my new PKS stamps in the mail!!! Talk about bad timing :(
I will enter this card in Getting Cricky's cartridge challenge: Boyish Charms.
See you later,
Brigitte

Happy Birthday with Create a Critter
Hi everybody,
There is a challenge at Bitten by the Bug 2. You have to use the dog on page 35 of Create a Critter (if you have that cartridge!). It also qualifies for Getting Cricky's cartridge challenge: Boyish Charms. This is what I came up with:
This card is for my friend's son and he's turning 4. On the hat, it had a 1, so using my Gypsy, I removed the 1 and welded a 4 from Plantin Schoolbook instead!!! Tada, a custom hat for the little guy!
The paper and ink is SU. The brown pattterned paper is K & Company. I put the bashful blue cardstock through the spots and dots cuttlebug folder and sponged blue and brown ink on it. I added some bling with my I-Rock and some doodling with white and black pen. The cute face is from Critter faces set at PKS.
Hope you enjoy,
Brigitte

Imagination Monday Buttons
Hello,
I made a Christmas card with the Doodlecharm cartridge. I cuttlebugged the medallion with D'vine swirl and used the cute Basic Paper Doll PKS. I added some doodling and sponged the paper for a vintage look. Also, I traced with a gold pen around the oval shape.
The paper, ink and burgundy button are from SU. The border punch is MS and I don't remember where I got the heart button!!!
I will enter this card in Emma's Imagination Monday Challenge: Buttons, Buttons, Buttons.
I hope you have a fantastic week, mine already started Sunday. I had to go to work early yesterday to go search for a person that fell in the water off the coast of Peggy's Cove in Nova Scotia!

Hubby's birthday card
Hello,
I just made a card for my husband's birthday. It's at the end of the month, but he doesn't look at my blog, so it's safe, lol!!!
This card fits the bill for Getting Cricky's cartridge challenge: Boyish Charms.
It has to be a project with a boyish feel. Well, my sweety is a boy in a man's body!
It's the first time I make a Tri Fold Shutter card. I got the instructions here.
All paper is SU. I put some embossing paste through a stencil to make the white stars. The helicopter is from the Everyday Paper Doll cartridge. I picked the aircraft because he fixes the Seaking helicopter.
I will add some writing in the two rectangles, but it's personal and it might need some parental advisory!!!
Blue is his favorite colours, I hope he will like it. I will keep you posted!

Candy Cane Christmas card
Hi crafters,
I made this card for Emma's Throwback Thursday challenge 121.
****Challenge is based on "ORIGINALITY"
****Must be a "FOOD" theme project!
****Use "FROM MY KITCHEN" cartridge OR if you do NOT own this cart, feel free to use any older cartridge you have just as long as it has to do with "FOOD"!
****Must be an ORIGINAL project made especially for THIS challenge
****ONE entry Per Person Please.
****Deadline for project will be WEDNESDAY, Nov. 10th @ 6:00pm PST
****Last but Not Least~ HAVE FUN!!
The paper, ink and stamp is SU. The ribbon is from Wallmart. I added some rhinestone with my I-Rock and some Crystal Effect on the red part of the cane. I also did some faux stitching with my black marker and cuttlebugged the top part with the swiss dot folder. The border punch is MS. For the candy cane, I changed it with my Gypsy (the best purchase ever!!!). I thought it was too skinny, so I used the slant advance option to 0.30 and removed the other part I didn't want. I bought some Zip Dry glue, you probably heard about this product from Emma, lol!!! I just love it!!! It just smells a little ;)
For the strip of paper, I used this technique on another one of my project, you can see it here.
I made a 4¼" by 5½" piece and then cut it up, I can use the rest later on something else!

Smiley cartridge
Hi everybody,
I haven't posted in a bit, busy at work and also didn't seem to have much inspiration. BUT, with the new update on the gypsy, I couldn't wait to see the new Smiley cartridge!!! I was lucky, for gypsy owner that registered by Oct. 31st, they were getting 6 cartridges. I only had one of them, woo woo!!! It took me a while to get the updates. I have a Mac and the new Gypsy software doesn't work for it yet. I had to use VMWare and that took forever!!!!
Anywho, I made this card and I used the sketch at PKS for challenge 40.
The cardstock, ink and ribbon is SU, the patterned paper is from Creative Memories. The cracked egg is from the new cartridge Smiley and the border is from Gypsy Wandering. I added crystal effect on the eyes and also on the tag. I ran a needle through the crystal effect while it was still wet to make it look like it was cracked. I added some doodling and some bling with my I-Rock!

The saying can be translated by: "You're cracked..." which means you're crazy!!!
Inside the card it says: "But it's the way we love you. Don't change!" (Pis c'est comme ça qu'on t'aime! Change pas.)
This card is for my husband's uncle. He's such a dear and always so funny and out of this world! Also, the fleur de lys represent the province he lives in.
Hope he likes it,
Brigitte
