Day #1 Up, Up and Away at Kraftin' Kimmie

C'est la première journée des nouveautés pour le mois de mai chez Kraftin' Kimmie et je vous présente le set d'estampe Up, Up and Away de Becky Pearce !!!!  Il y a une tonne de petits éléphants, des accessoires et des sentiments parfaits pour la mongolfière.

Spring is her! (Well in most places anyway!)

Today's the first day for the May release. We're kicking off the krafty fun with an adorable set by artist Becky Pearce! It's called...

UP, UP AND AWAY!
What a fabulous and uplifting set of sweet images and sentiments to send to special people to let them know you're thinking of them, especially right now. It's a 4x6 stamp set featuring several main images, some accessory stamps and some awesome sunshiney sentiments!

You will spot our newest addition to the Krafty Kolours Hybrid Ink rainbow. It's an amazing yellow named

SUMMER SUNSHINE

We've got TWO brand new Krafty Stencils for this month's release to help accessorize your creations!

They are called SUMMER SUNBEAMS and RADIANT RAINBOW!

And of course, we are adding the perfect new coordination Krafty Dots for this release. The package includes 48 enamel dots in varying sizes in 6 different colours! These ones are called

RAINBOW BRIGHT DOTS!

J’ai créé une petite scène avec la mongolfière, un éléphant et les petits oiseaus que j'ai coloriés avec mes crayons Prismacolor. Pour finir, j'ai pris le stencil arc-en-ciel avec les jaunes et roses de KKS. J'ai mis un sentiment du set, un point en émail et du spray.

I created a little scene with the hot air balloon, one of the elephant and the little birds that I coloured with Prismacolor pencils. I added the rainbow with the new stencil. To finish, I put a krafty dot, a sentiment from the set and sprayed some colour on top.

It's time for another month of Skrappy Fun

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!!

We challenge YOU to make Anything BUT a Card!!!

For this challenge you can make anything you want to....except a card! So that means bookmarks, gifts, scrapbook pages, journal art, planner pages, tags, boxes...pretty much anything that includes a krafty stamp!! 

 

J'ai fait un faux livre pour le défi. Il y a un espace dans le milieu et on peut y cacher des surprises... comme du chocolat!!!!! La reliure est en imitation cuir et j'ai utilisé des papiers à motif que j'avais. Pour les "pages", j'ai marqué au 1/4" du papier que j'ai plié en accordéon. J'ai fait les quatre côtés et je les ai collés ensemble. J'ai teint le ruban avec l'encre Gorgeous Grape. Les papillons ont été faits des découpes et j'ai fait un fond en aquarelle pour l'arrière plan derrière les fées.

I made a fake book for the challenge. There's room inside and we can hide surprises... like chocolate!!!! The binding is in faux leather and I used patterned papers from my local craft store. For the "pages", I scored paper every 1/4" and folded like an accordion. I made four sides and glued them together. I dyed the ribbon with Gorgeous Grape ink. I made the butterflies with die cuts and the background for the fairies with watercolour.

J'ai colorié les petites fées de Fairy Folk avec mes crayons Prismacolor. J'ai mis du Stickles sur les ailes pour une touche magique!!!

I coloured the cute little fairies from Fairy Folk stamp set with Prismacolor pencils. I put some Stickles on their wings for a magical touch!!!

Multiple layers with Fairy Folk at Kraftin' Kimmie

C'est samedi et c'est le temps pour un nouveau défi chez Kraftin' Kimmie!!!!! Cette fois-ci le thème est: plusieurs épaisseurs.

Good morning and welcome to another Saturday challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Are you ready for some fun and krafty challenges to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing? We've got some fabulous ideas for you and can't wait to see what you create. This week your hostess is Krafty girl Danielle C. and her challenge for you is: multiple layers!

 Pour ce thème que j'adore, j'ai utilisé les belles petites fées de Sabrina. J'ai fait une carte "chevalet" double à angle (double twisted easel). Voici l'intérieur de la carte. J'ai fait tous les papiers à motif avec de l'encre et des stencils (liste plus bas). J'ai terminé avec du Stickles sur les rebords, des points en émail et quelques sentiments du set. Pour la bande, j'ai ajouté des aimants pour qu'elle se referme bien.

For this theme that I love, I used Sabrina's adorable little fairies!!! I made a double twisted easel card. Here's the inside of the card. I made all the patterned papers with KKS inks and stencils (list below). I finished with Stickles on the edges, Rainy Day krafty dots and a few sentiments from the set. I added magnets to the band so it closes properly. 

 J'ai  estampé avec Party Peach pour un effet sans ligne. J'ai ensuite colorié les petites fées de Fairy Folk  avec mes Prismacolors. J'ai utilisé de l'aquarelle pour l'arrière plan.

I stamped with Party Peach for a no line effect. I then coloured the little fairies from Fairy Folk with Prismacolors. I used watercolour for the background.

Voici la carte fermée avec la bande magnétique. J'ai mis du "foil" avec le stencil Beautiful Butterflies.

Red, white and blue with Gemini Tilda at Simply Magnolia

The challenge this month at Simply Magnolia is: anything goes with the option of red, white and blue. 

 

J'ai fait une carte très simple. Pour le fond, j'ai pris de l'aquarelle que j'ai soufflé avec une paille. J'ai mis du Stickles sur les rebords et un sentiment de SU.

I made a CAS style card. For the background, I dropped watercolour on the paper and blew through a straw. 

J'ai colorié Gemini Tilda avec mes crayons Prismacolor sur du papier pour marqueur à l'alcool.

I coloured Gemini Tilda with Prismacolor pencils on alcool marker paper.

 J'ai fait une carte chevalet double! Cette fois-ci, j'ai utilisé des couleurs et stencils différents pour faire les fonds. J'ai fini avec des points en émail et du Stickles sur les rebords.

I made a double twisted easel card! This time, I used different colours and stencils to make the backgrounds. I finished with krafty dots and Stickles around the edges.

Voici le dessus de la carte avec une bande magnétique pour garder le tout bien fermé!

 J'ai colorié les beaux petits dragons de Darling Dragons avec mes Copics.

Blog hop with Here comes the Sun at Kraftin' Kimmie

C'est aujourd'hui le blog hop et j'ai décidé de vous présenter une petite carte avec le set Here Comes the Sun!
Today we are celebrating all the new April release goodies and they are available right now at Kraftin' Kimmie!!! Right now, Here Comes the Sun and Fairy Folk stamp set are sold out but nous will be on the way son !!!

All THREE new clear stamp sets will be available over at the Krafty Shop, along with our scrumptious new GORGEOUS GRAPE ink, TWO new Krafty Stencils and our new Rainy Day Krafty Dots!! Yaaaay!
So I decided to show you the card I made with the stamp set Here Comes the Sun!!!!

J'ai fait une petite carte bien simple de 3" x 3". J'ai utilisé de l'aquarelle pour le fond. Le sentiment est du Set A Slothsome Day que j'ai estampé avec l'encre Wicked Black. J'ai fini avec un point en émail Rainy Day et du gribouillage autour du paneau.

I made a simple little card 3" x 3". I used watercolour for the background. The sentiment is from A Slothsome Day that I stamped with Wicked Black ink. I finished with a Rainy Day krafty dot and some doodle around the panel. 

J'ai colorié l'adorable petite fille avec mes Copics. Pour un effet plus doux, j'ai estampé l'image avec de l'encre rose pale.

I coloured the adorable little girl with Copics. I used Pretty in Pink ink to stamp the image for a no line colouring effect.

J'ai fait une longue carte simple avec tous les paresseux du set!!! J'ai ajouté des feuilles avec le stencil Leaves and Vines et tous les encres vertes de KKS. J'ai fait le ciel avec de l'aquarelle. 

I made a simple slim card with all the sloths in the set!!! I added leaves with the stencil Leaves and Vines and the different green inks from KKS. I did the sky with watercolour. 

J'ai colorié les paresseux avec mes crayons Prismacolor.
I coloured the sloths with Prismacolor pencils.
