Brigitte for Kraftin' Kimmie Krafty guest contest

Hi everyone,

Here's my third entry for the Krafty guest designer challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie.  As I mentionned earlier, I was lucky enough to be picked in the Top 10!!!  To continue, we have to make a project with the theme:  Kim loves Pink!  This time, I went for a CAS style card.

Voici ma troisième entrée pour le défi de Kraftin' Kimmie.  Comme je l'ai mentionné plus tôt, j'ai été chanceuse et j'ai été choisi parmi les Top 10 pour une chance d'être designer invitée!!!  Pour continuer le défi, il faut faire un projet avec le thème suivant:  Kim aime le rose!  Cette fois-ci, j'ai fait une carte bien simple.  

I want to start by saying that the picture didn't capture the colour really well.  It's actually pink and not red!  
I die cut the square to put stitches and added the sentiment that came with Brigitte.  To finish it off, I put some plastic pearls.
C'est très simple, j'ai utilisé une découpe pour ajouter les coutures et mis le sentiment qui vient avec Brigitte.  Pour finir le tout, j'ai ajouté des perles de plastique.

I coloured my namesake Brigitte from Kraftin' Kimmie with Copics.  I gave her rosy checks as she's been in her bath for awhile now, lol!!!!  I put clear Viva Perlen on the bubbles.
J'ai colorié Brigitte de Kraftin' Kimmie avec mes Copics.  Je lui ai donné de belle pommettes rouges parce que ça fait un bout de temps qu'elle est dans son bain, *rire*!!!  J'ai mis  du Viva Perlen transparent sur les bulles.

Gabrielle from Kraftin' Kimmie

Here's my second entry for the Krafty guest designer contest at Kraftin' Kimmie.  This time, I made a card with my friend Danielle in mind.  You see, she loves tea!

Voici ma deuxième entrée pour le défi de designer invitée chez Kraftin' Kimmie.  J'ai fait cette carte en pensant à mon amie Danielle.  Elle adore le thé!

I used some older gorgeous DCWV patterned paper.  It's call Preppy Princess and I thought it would be perfect for this little lady!  I added a doily, ribbons, pearls and a pearl button from another dear friend:  Céline.  The sentiment is from Simple à Souhait.
J'ai utilisé du papier à motif de DCWV.  Je les trouvais parfait pour cette jolie demoiselle!  J'ai ajouté un napperon, des rubans, des perles et un bouton perle de mon amie Céline.  Le sentiment est de Simple à Souhait.

I coloured Gabrielle from Kraftin' Kimmie with my Copics and added Stickles to her headband and patches.  I put some Crystal Effects on her eyes for added sparkle!  I couldn't help myself and gave her beautiful blue eyes!!!
J'ai colorié Gabrielle de Kraftin' Kimmie avec mes Copics et ajouté du Stickles sur son ruban ainsi que sur ses coeurs et son carreau.  J'ai mis du Crystal effects sur ses yeux pour les faire briller!  Je n'ai pas pu m'empêcher de lui faire de beaux yeux bleus!!!

Yeah! Top Ten at Kraftin' Kimmie

Hi everyone,

I can't believe I made it to the Top Ten for the Krafty guest spot at Kraftin' Kimmie!!!!!  They were my first stamps and I love all of Annie Rodrigue's quirky and funny images.  I also love the other artists, there are so many different styles.

I just finished this project as I was so busy all week.  I was away at the beginning of the week for work and put up a backsplash with the help of a friend this week-end.

J'ai une bonne nouvelle:  je suis parmi les Top 10 pour la position de designer invitée chez Kraftin' Kimmie!!!!!  J'adore les images de Annie Rodrigue, elles sont drôles et excentriques.  J'aime aussi les autres artistes, ils ont tous des styles différents.
Je viens juste de terminer mon projet.  J'ai été occupé toute la semaine.  Je n'étais pas à la maison en début de semaine et puis j'ai installé un dosseret avec l'aide d'un ami en fin de semaine.

I made a 6" by 6" album with gorgeous papers from s.e.i.  I made the binding with white leather that I covered with lace.  I actually airbrushed the feathers, pins and button!!!  They all started white!  I also coloured the lace with my Copics.

J'ai fait un album de 6" par 6" avec les magnifiques papiers de s.e.i.  J'ai fait la reliure avec du cuir blanc que j'ai couvert de dentelle.  J'ai colorié les plumes, aiguilles, boutons et dentelle avec mes Copics.  Ils étaient tous blancs!

I coloured Drucilla with my Copics.  I think she's adorable in a twisted kind of way, lol!!!!

J'ai colorié Drucilla avec mes Copics.  Je la trouve adorable, même si elle est un peu bizarre, *rire*!!!

I made a bookmark to go with the album.  I used some feathers, pearls and chain all from my cousin-in-law Amélie.
J'ai fait un marque page pour aller avec l'album.  J'ai utilisé des plumes, des perles et de la chaîne que ma cousine Amélie m'a donné.

I hope that the DT at Kraftin' Kimmie will like my project.
J'espère que l'équipe de Kraftin' Kimmie va aimer mon album.

Voici le cadeau de mon mari pour la St-Valentin.  Je voulais quelque chose de différent d'une carte et pas trop de brillant!

Here's my husband's Valentines gift.  I wanted something different than a card with not too much sparkle!

J'ai fait un calendrier avec les informations de mon amie Céline.  J'ai utilisé une découpe de Tim Holtz pour la roue et mis du Crystal Effect pour un effet plastique.  Le papier à motif est de Maja Design et j'ai ajouté des images de LOTV sur les pages de calendrier.
I made a calendar with the help of my friend Céline.  I used a Tim Holtz die cut for the picture wheel and put Crystal Effects to look like plastic.  The patterned paper is from Maja Design and I added LOTV images on the calendar pages.

J'ai colorié James avec mes Copics et j'ai mis du Crackle Accents sur le coeur.
I coloured James-Big Heart with Copics and added Crackle Accents on the heart.

Voici une carte que j'ai commencé pendant les vacances des Fêtes.  J'ai colorié l'image chez ma belle-soeur et je viens de la finir!

Here's a card I started during Christmas vacation.  I coloured the image at my sister-in-law and just finished it!

Le sentiment, l'image et les papiers sont de LOTV.  J'ai ajouté un charme de ma cousine Amélie, une bordure à pompom et puis quelques perles.

The sentiment, papers and image are all from LOTV.  I added a charm that my cousin-in-law gave me, pompom border lace and pearls.

J'ai colorié l'image avec mes Copics et ajouté du Stikcles et Glitter Ritz sur son chapeau.

I coloured James-Snow Angel with Copics and added Stickles and Glitter Ritz to the trim of his hat.

Chester at Kraftin' Kimmie

Hi everyone,

This is my second entry for the chance to be a guest designer for the month of March at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!!  I had to quit my DTs not too long ago because I didn't have time, so, if I'm lucky enough and get pick for this wonderful team, I'm sure I can handle one month!  Plus I have tons of Annie Rodrigue stamps, she's my favourite artist!

The theme is easy:  just add sparkle!  Who doesn't like bling?!

Voici ma deuxième entrée pour la place de designer chez  Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  Ma vie est très occupée dernièrement et va l'être pour encore un bon bout de temps.  C'est pour ça que je profite de l'occasion pour tenter ma chance pour un mois seulement!

Le thème est facile:  ajouter du brillant!  Qui n'aime pas ça?!!!

I used some older DCWV patterned paper.  They have a lot of sparkle and since it's a male card, I don't have to add a lot more.  My friend Lillian gave me this "paper ribbon" that's really shimmery, it's perfect for this outgoing dude!
J'ai utilisé du papier à motif de DCWV.  Ils sont très brillants et c'est parfait pour cet homme éclatant.  Mon amie Lillian m'a donné ce "ruban en papier", il fonctionne à merveille avec le thème du défi.

I coloured Chester with Copics.  I choose bright colours, instead if sticking with the traditional black and red!
J'ai colorié Chester avec mes Copics.  J'ai choisi des couleurs vives à la place des couleurs traditionnelles noir et rouge.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps guest contest

Hi everyone,

My life has been pretty busy lately and will be for a while more.  This is why I thought it would be great to try my hand (once again, lol) at the chance to be a guest designer for the month of March at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!!  I can handle one month and on top of that, it's my birthday in March.  My very first stamps for Copics were Kraftin' Kimmie and I don't use them enough (and I have a LOT of them).

The theme is easy:  just add sparkle!  Who doesn't like bling?!

Ma vie est très occupée dernièrement et va l'être pour encore un bon bout de temps.  C'est pour ça que j'ai profité de cette occasion de tenter ma chance, encore une fois, pour être designer du mois de mars chez Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!!

For my card, I used Maja Design patterned paper that my wonderful friend Céline send me for Christmas.  Thanks sweetie!  I added a die cut from Tim Holtz and some ribbon and twine.  I finished by a lot of Stickles and Frantage for loads of sparkle!  The flowers are from WOC and I also put a lot of shine!

Pour ma carte, j'ai utilisé du papier Maja Design de ma bonne amie Céline.  Merci ma belle!  J'ai ajouté une découpe de Tim Holtz et du ruban.  J'ai fini avec beaucoup de Stickles et du Frantage.  Les fleurs sont de WOC et j'ai aussi ajouté beaucoup de brillance.

I coloured Elaine by Kraftin' Kimmie with my Copics.  I put Stickles on her hat band and Smooch Illuminate on her skirt.  I made the sky with a paper template.

J'ai colorié Elaine de Kraftin' Kimmie avec mes Copics.  J'ai mis du Stickles sur la bande du chapeau et du Smooch Illuminate sur sa jupe.  J'ai fait le ciel avec une découpe en papier.

It's me again with my second post of the night.  I didn't have time to put this card on my blog before today.  It's a card for a co-worker.

J'ai utilisé des papiers que j'avais à la maison, je les trouvent parfaits pour cette image si explosive!  J'ai ajouté un sentiment de LOTV et un peu de corde.
I used patterned papers I already had, I think they are perfect for this over the top image!  I added a LOTV sentiment and some twine.

Voici une carte assez vite fait pour le cousin de mon mari.

Hi,

Here's a quick card I made for my husband's cousin.

Ça fait longtemps que j'ai ce ruban de SU et je voulais l'utiliser.  Les papiers de LOTV ont les couleurs parfaites pour aller avec.  J'ai mis un sentiment de Simple à Souhait.  La carte est très simple, je voulais qu'elle se malle sans problème, *rire*!!!

I had this SU ribbon for a long time and I wanted to use it.  These LOTV papers were perfect for this!  I finished by a sentiment from Simple à Souhait.  The card is pretty simple, I didn't want any problem mailing it, lol!!!

J'ai colorié l'image de LOTV avec mes Copics et j'ai fait le ciel avec une découpe en papier.

I coloured Lazy Days from LOTV with Copics and made the sky with a template.
