Christmas Card Challenge week/Semaine 45

Hi everyone,

It's this time of the week again:  a challenge at Christmas Card Challenge!!!

For this week's challenge, we want to see orange, yellow, blue and ivory.  Please keep in mind that all challenges are optional. The only real rule is that you must create a new Christmas Holiday, Winter or Hanukkah card. Also, it is not necessary to use a SCRS stamp on your card, but we sure love it when you do!

These are not my usual colours.  I'm not a fan of yellow or orange and I have to admit, it took me a long, long time to make this card!  I was lucky, I had patterned paper with those colours.  It's actually a baby boy paper pack, lol!!!!  I added some WOC poinsettia, a bow, some pearl brads and a charm.
Ce ne sont pas mes couleurs normales.  Je ne suis pas fan de jaune ou orange et je dois admettre que j'ai pris beaucoup de temps à terminer cette carte!  J'ai été chanceuse, j'avais du papier à motif dans ces couleurs.  C'est un paquet pour les petits garçons!  J'ai ajouté des fleurs de WOC, une boucle, des attaches parisiennes en perle et un charme.

I kept the card simple.  I wanted the image to take center stage.  I just added some gems, a little bit of lace and a handmade pin.

J'ai gardé la carte très simple.  Je voulais que l'image soit à l'avant plan.  J'ai ajouté des pierres, un peu de dentelle et une aiguille fait main.

I love Krista's images!!!!  This one is called Color Me Wonderful and she is truly wonderful!  I added the sentiment on computer when I printed the digi.  I coloured her with Copics, doesn't she have fantastic hair?!!!

J'adore les images de Krista!!!!  Celle-ci s'appelle Color Me Wonderful et elle est magnifique!  J'ai ajouté le sentiment avec mon ordinateur avant d'imprimer l'image digitale.  Je l'ai colorié avec mes Copics, ne trouvez vous pas que ses cheveux sont extraordinaire?!!!

Aujourd'hui, je veux vous montrer une carte que j'ai faite pour le rappel du défi de Totally Tilda.  Pour cette fois-ci, il faire une ligne de Bingo.

I cheated and use two rows:  bottom and right ones!!!!  This card is for somebody special and this person loves red...  not my favorite colour but I like the end result!  I added lots of embellishments:  flowers, gems, butterflies, ribbon, twine and a charm.
J'ai triché et utilisé deux rangées:  celle du bas et de droite!!!  J'ai fait la carte pour quelque de spécial.  J'ai ajouté beaucoup de décorations:  fleurs, pierres, papillons, ruban, corde et un charme.

I coloured Tilda with a Gift for You with Copics on Neenah cardstock.  I added Smooch Illuminate on her gift and bow.

Christmas Card Challenge week/Semaine 44

It's this time of the week again:  a challenge at Christmas Card Challenge!!!

For this week's challenge, we would like if you could use chipboard on your cards.  Please keep in mind that all challenges are optional. The only real rule is that you must create a new Christmas Holiday, Winter or Hanukkah card. Also, it is not necessary to use a SCRS stamp on your card, but we sure love it when you do!

I don't have a lot of chipboard so I made my own!  I die cut a bunch of layers of the same tree in cardstock, glued them together and then finished by a last layer of patterned paper.  I added Stickles, pearl brads and a snowflake charm.Je n'ai pas beaucoup de carton aggloméré (chipboard), je l'ai donc fait!  J'ai découpé l'abre plusieurs fois, j'ai collé les épaisseurs ensemble et j'ai fini par du papier à motif.  J'ai ajouté du Stickles, des attaches parisiennes perles et un charme en forme de flocon.

I coloured Sweet Christmas Edwin with Copics on Neenah cardstock.  I added Stickles on the snowflakes and snow.
J'ai colorié Edwin avec mes Copics sur du carton Neenah.  J'ai ajouté du Stickles sur les flocons et la neige.

You know when everything goes right?!!!  I felt this way when I made this card!  I picked my favorite colours, beautiful flowers and a gorgeous Tilda image.  
I choose the line with lace, dry embossing (on the butterflies) and flowers.
Vous savez quand tout va bien?!!!  Je me sentais comme ça quand j'ai fait cette carte!  J'ai choisi mes couleurs favorites, de belles fleurs et une Tilda magnifique. 
J'ai choisi la ligne avec de la dentelle, de l'embossage (sur les papillons) et des fleurs.

Autumn Tilda at Totally Tilda

This card is so out of my comfort range!  I love pastels colours, so this was not easy for me, lol!!!  Anyway, it's done!  Some fall paper, die cuts, gems, twine and beautiful berry spray by Danielle.
Ce n'est pas une carte facile pour moi!  J'aime les couleurs pastels, je suis vraiment sorti de ma zone de comfort.  Mais c'est fait!!!  Papier d'automne, découpe avec pochoir, pierres, corde et une branche magnifique de Danielle!

I'm really happy out she turned out!  It's the first time I used burned orange with my copics and I like the results.  This is Autumn Tilda with Broom and she is lovely!

Here's my New Year's card with animal prints!  I kept it simple since the patterned paper is pretty busy.  I just added some feathers and a large ribbon.  The sentiment comes with the image.

Voici ma carte de la Nouvelle Année.  Je l'ai gardé simple puisque le papier à motif est très chargé.  J'ai ajouté des plumes et un ruban.  Le sentiment vient avec l'image.

Arr matey!!! BTC&G midway reminder

It's the middle of the month and the mid-way reminder at By The Cute And Girly.  The theme this month is boys/men.  This time I made a couple of scrapbooking pages of my nephew.

C'est le milieu du mois et un rappel pour le défi de By The Cute And Girly.  On veut voir des projets de/pour les gars.  Cette fois ci j'ai fait deux pages de scrapbooking pour mon neveu.

The wonderful patterned paper is from DCWV.  I love that company, they have amazing paper for boys!  I added some cord and brads to the first page.  For the second one,  I cut the title with my Cricut and added a charm.  The stamps are from SU except for Edwin.
Le merveilleux papier à motif est de DCWV.  J'aime cette compagnie, elle a des papiers magnifiques pour les garçon!  J'ai ajouté de la corde et des attaches parisiennes pour la première page.  Pour la deuxième, j'ai coupé le titre avec ma Cricut et ajouté un charme.  Les estampes sont de SU sauf Edwin qui est de Magnolia.
