Princesse Batty Princess

Bonjour,
C'est lundi et il fait un temps de cochon dehors!!!  J'ai donc continué dans la même veine que mon message précédent, une carte d'Halloween.  Je n'ai pas encore décidé si je vais montrer celle-la pour le cours que je vais donner.

It's Monday and the weather is horrible!  So I decided to keep the same tone as the previous post, Halloween.  I didn't decide yet if I will teach this card for the course I will give.

Vrai couleur/ Real colours

J'ai utilisé du papier de SU et mis des Stickles sur les côtés.  J'ai appliqué les petites pierres avec mon I-Rock et la clôture est un poiçon de MS.  J'ai vaporisé du Smooch Shimmer et du pastel noir pour la clôture.

I used SU paper.  I distressed and added Stickles on all edges.  I put the bling with my I-Rock and the fence was made with a MS punch.  I then sprayed some Smooch Shimmer and some black pastel on it.

J'ai colorié la Princesse Batty de Kraftin' Kimmie avec mes Copics et découpé en lui laissant un rebord.  J'ai ajouté des Stickles sur sa robe.  Couleurs:  BV17-04-02-000, C1-3-5-7-9, E000-00, YG00.

I coloured Batty Princess from Kraftin' Kimmie with Copics and cut her leaving an edge around her.  I added Stickles on her dress.  Colours:  BV17-04-02-000, C1-3-5-7-9, E000-00, YG00.

La maison hantée est faite avec ma Cuttlebug et j'ai mis du pastel et du Crystal Effects.

The haunted house is a Cuttlebug folder.  I added some pastel and Crystals Effects.

Je suis très excité, la propriétaire de mon magasin de bricolage m'a demandé de donner un cours pour faire 3 cartes en utilisant les estampes de Kraftin' Kimmie!!!  J'ai accepté même si je ne me sens pas à la hauteur.

I'm so excited!  The owner of my local craft store asked me to give a course about making 3 cards using Kraftin' Kimmie stamps.  I accepted but I have to admit that I'm a little nervous (to be honest, pretty nervous, lol!!!).

Voici la première carte que je vais démontrer pour le magasin.  Le papier à motif est de s.e.i et le reste du papier est de SU.  L'estampe de sentiment et l'araignée sont aussi de SU.  J'ai pris de la mousseline que j'avais pour faire des confitures et mis du pastel pour la veillir.  Les perles sont faites avec du Viva Decor Pearls.

Here's my first card for the store.  The patterned paper is s.e.i and the cardstock is SU.  The spider and Boo stamps are also SU.  I took some cheesecloth I had to make jam and put pastel to distress it.  I also distressed all the edges.  The pearls are made with Viva Decor Pearls.

I coloured Zelda from Kraftin' Kimmie with Copics and added Crystal Effects on the bolts.  Colours:  Skin YG91-95-97 BV000-02, Pants B91-93-97, Shirt RV66-63-"61", Hair C9-7-5-3, Bolts C5-3-1.

Marriage d'automne/ Fall Wedding

Quelqu'un m'a demandé de faire une carte pour donner à un marriage.  Les couleurs sont ochre brûlée (le couple est aller pour un brun), orange foncée et doré.  Ce ne sont pas des couleurs que j'utilisent normalement, mais je crois que le résultat est pas si pire.

Somebody asked me to make a card to give at a wedding.  The colours are burned ochre (the couple went for a brown), dark orange and golden.  I usually don't use those colours, but I think it turned out OK.

Le papier à motif est de Me & my Big Ideas et le reste des papiers sont de SU.  J'ai embossé le papier de fond avec ma Cuttlebug et ensuite je l'ai enduit de poudre d'embossage doré.  Le ruban est de WOC et l'oval a été coupé avec un pochoir de Spellbinder.  J'ai mis des Stickles sur tout les contours.  J'ai fait les perles avec Viva Decor Pearls.

The patterned paper is Me & My Big Ideas and the cardstocks are SU.  I embossed the background with the Victoria folder and my Cuttlebug and then added gold embossing powder.  The seam binding is WOC and the die cut for the oval is Spellbinder.  I put Stickles on all edges for some shimmer.  I made the pearls with Viva Decor Pearls.

Je n'ai pas beaucoup d'images pour un marriage.  J'ai colorié Edwin et Tilda avec mes Copics et ajouté des Stickles sur les fleurs et du crayon Spica sur sa robe.

I don't have too many wedding images.  Actually, to be honest, it's really my only one, lol!!!  I coloured Edwin and Tilda (Loving Bridal couple) with Copics and added Stickles on the flowers and Spica marker on her dress.

Les roses sont de WOC.  La fleurs du centre est la seule dont je n'ai pas touché la couleur.  J'ai ajouté du Glimmer Glaze, des Stickles et Shimmer Spritz.  C'est pour un marriage après tout, *rire*, il faut que ça brille!!!

The roses are WOC.  The middle flower is the only one that I didn't touch the colour.  I added Glimmer Glaze, Stickles and Shimmer Spritz.  It has to shine, it's for a wedding after all, lol!!!

J'ai utilisé une estampe de SU pour faire le paneau derrière l'heureux couple.

I used a SU stamp to make the panel behind the happy couple.

 Normalement, je ne fini pas l'intérieur de mes cartes.  Cette fois-ci j'ai décidé d'ajouter une petite estampe de SU dans le coin.

Usually I don't finish the inside of my cards.  This time, I decided to add a little SU stamp in the corner.

On a un jour de congé surprise aujourd'hui et j'en ai profité pour faire une carte.

We have a surprise day off today and I took advantage of it and made a card.

Un des défis est d'utiliser que du blanc sauf pour l'image.  Je trouve ça très dur.  J'ai mis beaucoup de différentes texture et de brilliant pour faire un peu de contraste.  J'ai embossé les papiers avec 2 motifs différents et ajouté du Perfect Pearls Mists, du Glitter Ritz et des Stickles.  Les roses sont de WOC et elles ont aussi reçu le même traitement!  Le ruban est aussi de WOC et l'étiquette est une estampe de Lili of the Valley.

One of the challenges is to use only white except for the image.  I foud it very hard to do.  I used a lot of different textures and lots of glimmer to add some contrast.  I embossed the cardstock with 2 different folders and added Perfect Pearls Mists, Glitter Ritz and Stickles.  The roses are WOC and they got the same treatment!  The ribbon is also from WOC and the tag is a stamp from Lili of the Valley.

Je viens de terminer cette carte de Nöel.  Je suis parvenu à la compléter très vite.  J'imagine c'est ça qui arrive quand je prends des éléments qui m'inspirent, *rire*!!!

I just finished this Christmas card.  I made it pretty quickly.  I guessed that's what happens when I choose elements that I love, lol!!!

Les papiers et le ruban bleu sont de SU.  J'ai embossé le papier de fond avec ma Cuttlebug.

The cardstock and blue ribbon are from SU.  I embossed the background paper with my Cuttlebug and inked the edges of all paper.

J'ai colorié James de Lili of the Valley avec mes Copics.  J'ai ajouté du Glimmer Glaze et puis du Crystal Effects sur les boules de Nöel.  J'ai aussi mis des Stickles sur la guirlande.  Les petites pierres ont été appliquées avec mon I-Rock.

I coloured James from Lili of the Valley with Copics.  I added Glimmer Glaze and after it was dry, I put some Crystal Effects on the Christmas ornaments.  I applied Stickles on the garland.  I put the bling on with my I-Rock.

Les fleurs ainsi que les perles sont de WOC.  J'ai ajouté un peu de couleur et mis du Glimmer Glaze.  Pendant que c'était encore humide, j'ai soupoudré du Glitter Ritz.

The flowers and pearls are from WOC.  I added a little bit of colour and put some Glimmer Glaze.  While it was still wet, I sprinkled some Glitter Ritz.

Today, I have a card for a bicycle enthusiast.

J'ai découpé la forme de la carte avec ma Cricut.  C'est moi qui ai dessiné le paysage.  J'ai copié une estampe de Magnolia pour le mur en pierre.  Le sentiment est de SU et les fleurs de WOC.

I cut the shape of the card with my Cricut.  I drew the landscape.  I copied a Magnolia stamp for the stone wall.  The sentiment is SU and the flowers are from WOC.

J'ai colorié Edwin avec mes Copics et ajouté du Crystal Effects sur sa bicyclette.

I coloured Edwin with Copics and added Crystal Effects on his bike.

J'ai fait les petites Tilda avec du Shrinky Dink.  J'ai vu l'idée sur un blog, mais malheureusement, je ne me rapelle plus du quel :(

I made the tiny Tilda with Shrinky Dink.  I saw this idea on a blog, unfortunately, I can't remember which one :(  The way I did it was to stamp the shinny side with StayzOn ink and then coloured with Copics on the frosty side.  After this, I heated them up with my heat gun et voilà...  little Tilda!!!

Tilda et son arbre de Nöel/ Tilda and her Christmas tree

Dans les provinces anglaises du Canada, aujourd'hui, c'est un jour férié!  Ça fait plus de temps pour bricoler, *rire*!!!

In the english provinces of Canada, today is a stat holiday!  It means more time for crafting, lol!!!

J'ai utilisé du papier et du ruban de SU.  La dentelle est de mon magasin de tissu et les fioritures sont un pochoir de Marianne Design.  J'ai mis du Glimmer Glaze sur celle-ci et des perles de Viva Decor Pearls.  J'ai appliqué des Stickles sur les bords de papier pour faire briller la carte.

I used SU cardstock and ribbon.  The lace is from my stash and the swirls are a die cut from Marianne Design.  I put some Glimmer Glaze on them and pearls with a Viva Decor Pearls pen.  I applied some Stickles on the edge of the papers for some bling!

J'ai colorié Tilda avec mes Copics et mis du Stickles sur sa bande et les petites étoiles.

I coloured Tilda with Copics and added Stickles on her headband and the little stars.

J'ai fait le boutton et mis une estampe de SU.  J'ai aussi mis une couche de Glimmer Glaze.

I made the button and put a SU stamp.  I also added a layer of Glimmer Glaze for some sparkle!

Voici un détail des fleurs.  Elles sont de WOC et j'ai ajouté, encore une fois, des Stickles et du Glimmer Glaze.  Les fleurs roses ont été coloriées avec mes Copics.

Here's the detail of the flowers.  They're WOC roses and, again, I added Stickles and Glimmer Glaze.  I colored the pink roses with Copics.

Voici l'étiquette et la boite qui forme l'ensemble.  J'ai utilisé ma Cricut pour faitre la boite et un pochoir de Magnolia pour l'étiquette.  Les estampes sont de SU.
Here's the tag and box to complete the set.  I used my Cricut to make the box and a Magnolia Die cut for the tag.  The stamps are SU.

It's super nice today and I have a perfect card for the occasion!

Les papiers à motif sont de DCWV et le reste de SU.  J'ai suivi les indications de chez Kraftin' Kimmie stamps qui sont de ne pas utiliser d'ornament.  C'était très dur, mais j'y suis parvenu, *rire*!!!  Même la bande à droite est faite de papier!
The patterned papers are DCWV and the cardstock is SU.  I followed the rules at Kraftin' Kimmie stamps:  keep it simple and no embellishment.  It's was very hard, but I managed, lol!!!  Even the band on the right is made of paper!

J'ai colorié Jilly de Kraftin' Kimmie avec mes Copics et ajouté du Viva Decor Gel pen pour les bulles d'eau.

I coloured Jilly from Kraftin' Kimmie with Copics and added Viva Decor Gel pen for the bubbles.  I don't think it count as embellishment, it's just water after all!!!

On peut voir sur cette photo l'effet des gouttes d'eau.

We can see on this picture the 3-D effect of the water droplets.

I have a very simple Christmas card to show you.

J'ai utilisé du papier et ruban de SU.  J'ai ajouté les pierres avec mon I-Rock et les perles sont de Robin's Egg.  J'ai découpé l'oval avec un pochoir de Spellbinders et embossé le papier de fond avec ma Cuttlebug.  J'ai vaporisé du Shimmer Spritz et appliqué du Glimmer Glaze pour donner un effet brilliant.  La fleur est de WOC et j'ai pris un poiçon de MS pour les branches.

I used cardstock and ribbon from SU.  I added the bling with my I-Rock and the dew drops are Robin's Egg.  I used a Spellbinder die cut for the oval and embossed the background with my Cuttlebug.  I sprayed some Shimmer Spritz on the white paper and applied Glimmer Glaze on the WOC flower.  The branches are a MS punch.

Voici une carte un peu différente.

Here's a card a little bit different.

J'ai découpé la forme de rouleau à pâte avec ma Gypsy et Expression.  Le cercle est aussi découpé avec ma Cricut.  Le ruban et papier sont de SU et j'ai appliqué les pierres avec mon I-Rock.

I cut the shape with my Gypsy and Expression.  I also made the circle with my Cricut.  The ribbon and papers are SU and I put the bling on with my I-Rock.

J'ai colorié Tilda avec mes Copics et ajouté du Crystal Effects sur son rouleau à pâte en marbre!

I coloured Tilda with Copics and added Crytstal Effects on her marble rolling pin.

C'est la première fois que j'utilise cette technique de 3-D.  Ce n'est pas trop réussi, mais bon, je n'avais plus le temps pour recommentcer, *rire*!!!

It's my first time using this 3-D technic.  I don't like the result, but I didn't have time to start over, lol!!!

J'ai mis un sentiment de Kraftin' Kimmie à l'intérieur de la carte.
